So in other words, I poked a hole in your reasoning and you don't like that, huh? Well, nobody does.

So you're saying that since there's a supposed hole in my reasoning, I'm unfounded in my belief that aliens are less attractive than humans. Also, your claim has no merit. Miranda is human and Liara is not, and I'm not going to play the hypotheticals game with you.

Tali is my Shepard's LI in all my play-throughs. I like her personality and I tend to look at her as a person rather than an alien. There is more to that than just making babies.

Frankly I find the "Asari mate with anything" to be a bit repulsive. Liara herself is a little more than creepy.

Very true. And I'm incapable of ever loving in a real romantic, domestic partner sense any alien. Doesn't matter about how much I like them as a person.

Tevos? :?

Kay.

Don't you dare say anything bad about Tevos.

Yes, that's exactly right. Also, my claim absolutely has merit. Surely you've heard of thought experiments, which countless elements of philosophy and physics are built upon? That's what they are. Hypothetical situation to test ideas to see if they hold up.

And yours clearly don't, else you wouldn't be so reluctant to answer the question.

Well that's too bad David.

I don't think I'm wrong at all in my belief. I'm not telling other people to believe in it. I'm saying that I can never find an alien attractive or beautiful, in the sexual or romantic sense.

If you think I'm wrong with my preferences, that's your problem.

And no, your claim has no merit if there is no argument. That's a rule of argument. People need to agree that there is one. There is not. Miranda is a human, and Liara is not. You can't argue otherwise, because that is the case.

I refuse to partake in any hypothetical situation beyond that. Think whatever you like.

I'm not making a claim David. You're stating the question. And I choose not to answer. That's all that really concerns you.

Tsk, tsk, tsk. Your beliefs aren't very strong if they don't hold up in such a plausible scenario.

What's plausible about your scenario? It's not real, nor will it ever be.

Again why does it concern you if I'm not attracted to aliens? Why does it bother anyone?

Not even Twi'leks.

The most "alien" that I'm willing to go is Zeltron or Chiss. And neither are really alien to begin with. They're offshoots of basic humans. They're still genetically human.

You should take a physics class sometime, and answer all the questions with "This scenario isn't real, nor will it ever be. Therefore, this test is invalid."

I'm not talking about Physics David, I'm talking about narrative.

Take a Literature or Writing class, specifically Persuasion and Argument.

Just out of curiosity what do you find creepy about Liara?

On topic why are people caring what his shepards, or even himself for that matter, finds attractive? I think both Liara and Tali are attractive characters (both personality and physically) hell, I'm a straight male as well and find femshep + garrus to be one of the most well written romances in the game, but I also could not care less if someone has a different opinion about what is and is not attractive.

It's just that Liara has a mandatory role in the squad and story. People complain about that. Hence Liara, James, and EDI get the most complaints in ME 3. It was the same with Miranda in ME 2, and it'll be the same for whoever else is mandatory in the next game.

The way she comes at Shep in ME1, her change from innocent scientist to a ruthless info broker and her monotone voice to say a few things.

Edit : I don't have anything against Liara fans. This is just my personal opinion.^_^
