Wish I could. My Xbox red rings at least once a gaming session now :/

Debating whether or not to splurge on a used one at least in the meantime.

It's still fun for me when I have nothing better to do, but I was thinking about buying another copy and starting from scratch. Would be fun having the skills, but not the weapons/characters/equipment, to see how I would do starting off fresh. Is buying a new copy of the game the only way to "reset" back to zero?

Because I still enjoy it
My manifest is almost complete so I'd like to finish that up

Because... fun

This.

Also finishing up map mastery ... because ... completeness?  OCD?  Cool Nomad banner?

All the other reasons (N7, challenge number, maxed manifest) don't really interest me.

I look forward to completing map mastery, it's taken me away from many of the things I like to do in the game, the different builds, weapons, etc., since I am using a limited number of kits and weapons for the challenge.  I don't hate or dislike it, but map and solo mastery are the only challenges that did not come about as a natural occurrance of my game play.

What this has done is confirm for me what makes it fun -- the variety of kits, weapons, builds and all the different folks I get to play with in pugs and friends list.  While I have not tried every permutation and combination of characters, weapons, mods and gear, I've done a lot of variations ... a lot ... of variations.  That has really been a huge amount of fun for me.  Read on BSN about a unique build ... oh, quick, got to try that one ... and away I go.

Fun.

The enemies are hard and plentiful. The classes are unique (extremely for some characters). Weapons are fun. What's not to love?

Played it allmost day and night the first 6 months, couldn't stop, so I forced myself to play something else to let the grip slip, and it worked... Until a couple of weeks ago when I booted Me3 up again. And now I'm stuck again and it seems there is even more people playing today then the last time I tried to fill a lobby. So this game really has some staying power.

I don't appreciate you disingenuously asserting that I still play it.

i dont think i will ever finish my manifest and i have lost the desire to finish the challenges.

I'm still playing for fun. Watching mooks go flying when i hit them with cluster grenades, or competing to kill a mook with pull and lash etc still puts me in hysterics. I'll be happy when i can effortlessly carry pugs through gold.

I still enjoy it. I like to chat/play with all the folks I met while playing over this last year+.

I'll keep playing to get games in with good players who I haven't played with yet.

Like yesterday did some games with Ashen and Disciple, great games. Enjoyed them!

It's still fun, you can always go into a game with a weapon/kit combo you've never tried and experience something new. Plus, on console, there really isn't a whole lot to choose from right now.. unless you're into Defiance.

Same for me!

The only challenges I have left are promotions and solo runs. Promoting sucks and I play MP for the co-op aspect. If I wanted to solo, I would play the SP.

I'm having a blast playing the game. I haven't put in as much time as some but trying out new weapons & kits keeps the challenge fresh, and trying to catch up to the guys that have been playing for much longer drives me.

Modified, since English is not my 1st langage I may use still wrongly. You had reason, still is not a good word

a few reasons i suppose:

*burnt out on COD
*would like to play relaxing online game.
*no one i know IRL want to play co-op games.
*going slowly for BOTB banner, but in no rush.
and the biggest reason.
*playing for fun.

Going for challenges. Forces me to play with characters, weapons and powers I never would have but sticking with only 2-3 favorites gets boring.

I also have not maxed my manifest but have been saving up credits to try to get everything,

I still love the variety of classes, weapons, mods, powers... trying new combos is always a blast, and enjoying old favorites.
I also just recently got my gf into multiplayer which is giving me more opportunity to try new things while I help her gear up. :]

Even though he may not still play it, I think he was just doing more of a "quoting Renegade Shepard" thing than actually making a hard comment to you. I am not sure how the French version translates, but one of Renegade Shepard's famous lines (I believe it's the one he/she says when Renegade Interrupting that reporter in ME2), "I've had enough of your disingenuous assertions."

I saw nothing wrong with the English you posted originally. I think it's just a bit of a joke/quote post by Nihlus that got lost in the language barrier. No worries. Image IPB

I'm curious, why are you continuing playing at the Multiplayer  ME 3 game ? Especially those like me who plays since almost the beginning.

Because I enjoy playing the game, in particular with my friends. Most of the time only one of them has time for ME3 multiplayer these days. But the two of us are good enough to carry even the two worst PUGs through a Gold match. So we play PUG lottery and make fun of our fellow players in a private IM conversation afterwards. :D

And sometimes we meet players like the guy yesterday who outscored the two of us with his N7 Fury by a margin.

I've been playing this since the demo, and I finally stopped playing it.

Never got a chance to unlock BPP and Venom.
