I only started playing a couple of months ago, so it's still pretty new to me and very fun.
Honestly I'm not sure if it will keep my interest once I've unlocked everything, but my ME3 MP dedication has survived Bio-Shock Infinite and WoW 5.2 so that's a good sign!
Why are you continuing playing ME 3 Multiplayer ?

The reason, I believe, is due to something humans refer to as fun.

Still fun. Playing with characters that I rarely touch. Trying to get a few URs to "X"

Still got to complete Map Mastery and Promotions. I'd also like to max out my ultra-rares, but, well, realistically, I want to complete the first two challenges.
Once I've done that, I will probably play less.

I went from playing 2-3 hours or more a night, to playing 2-3 hours a week in the past month or so. I just got so burned out about not getting UR's it's sucked most of the fun out of the game. I kind of evaluated how many hours I've put into this game, and how many more unlocks there are to get that it made me seriously sick to think about how much MORE thousands of Premium Ammo Packs it would take to make any headway at all.
A friend turned me on to SWTOR, so that's what I've mainly been playing. We all play some ME every now and then for the hell of it. Regardless of the time-sink for UR's, it's still a fun game.

I started playing last July. Had a month off recently, and came back keen.
I have URs to level up. I had the Hurricane stuck at II for about six months (despite not missing a weekend op), and didn't use it much. Got it at VI now and loving it... on the SI - wow!
Slowly working on the BOTB challenge - which leads me to using kits / weapons I hadn't before, and finding new things to love.
And still enjoying the company of friends old and new.

Gotta max out 8 more URs. After I max out my URs, I'll still play but it'll be moreso for fun instead of credits.

The same reason why I stopped playing COD games. The people are what makes this game great.

Still fun. A great achievement on the part of the ME3 MP team, really. I exhausted myself on MP in the demo, but once I'd played through the SP a couple of times I came back. When I want to unwind, I pick a favourite class, don't worry about points, and just play.

Well, I've taken a break to focus on other games right now, but I'm thinking of coming back again sometime soon. I've still got URs to max out, challenges to complete, banners to unlock, and fun to be had.

Yeah, I still play, but I've been playing other things, like ME3 SP. xD So MOI123, have you uploaded those French-speaking vids yet? I'm still curious to hear them.

The diff. Kits. They are all so unique and fun. No other game has this many diff. fun characters to play as IMO.
Every night at work I find myself thinking about which kit I want to play when I get home in the morning. The higher difficulties keep me interested to want to get better. And my OCD won't let me let the RNG win.

I pop it in whenever I grow tired of games with competitive multiplayer, like Black Ops 2 and Battlefield 3. ME3 serves as my co-op fix.

It's too much fun. Just when I think I'm getting sick of it, I have an amazing game where everyone just gel's as a team and kicks butt, and then I'm motivated to keep playing.

I came to the ME franchise when ME2 was released - mesmerized by the story, and the concept of a game in which character choices really mattered. (I'm a old school gamer - still have my original Doom 3-1/2" floppies that I bought mail order directly from Id Software; downloading nearly 6 MB of data on a 2400 baud modem wasn't a realistic option.) Then I found out I could import an ME1 character into ME2. Couldn't find a copy of ME1 (for PC) anywhere except ebay.
I played through ME1 probably 5 or 6 times, then brought the characters into ME2, then started all over again to prepare another "perfect" character to bring into ME3.
Initially, I was disappointed to see the connection between ME3-SP and MP. My previous experiences in MP games left me preferring solo games; couldn't stand trying to fight off both enemies and other players who wanted to steal my gear or my gold, and all the chat channels filled with "WTB" and "WTS" posts. I finally got to the point in ME3SP when Shepard has to confront TIM and attempt to rescue Anderson. I set the game aside for 6 -8 months before venturing into MP to just get my galactic readiness score high enough for the "good" ending in SP. Well, I was gobsmacked by this great game!
ME3MP is very different from my previous MP experiences. Pure cooperative, no real point to stealing kills, and the concept of PUGs - players from anywhere in the world just jumping into fray was and still is a lot of fun.
I missed all but the last two or three challenges - kicking myself for that - but I've gotten 5/25 banners in four months toward BOTB, and my OCD compels me to at least try to get that banner.
I really enjoy the game. I have only 3 "friends", but have gotten to play with many excellent players, including several BOTBs who played bronze and silver PUGs.
For the most part, I enjoy reading entries on this forum and learning a lot from some very passionate people. I'm really looking forward to the next installment in the ME universe, and will definitely jump into the MP game from the start on that one - no more missed challenges!
Best regards to all.

I still want to unlock more stuff, so I still try and throw a few games in every now and again. I've been playing pretty much daily for the past week or so, though I didn't play much between when the last operation was over and about a week ago.
