Still annoyed at the price hike for the vehicles though. I'd just saved up enough scrip to get the Challenger, and they go and double the price.

I appreciate the offer bud, but what I really need right now is faction reputation.  I just can't figure out how to get it.

You can get faction reputation from completing daily and weekly contracts for the factions.

Up until 4 weeks ago I played the game and out of frustration I just quit. The game itself is not bad but it gets vrery tired very fast doing the same weekly contracts and dailies.  New content hasn't even appeared for almost a year and it's supposed to tie into the TV show but nothin much seems to  happen. 

 

I could go on about the official forums and where you can be banned for random reasons that are never explained to you. I made a joke about giving away my game character and that has since led to a perma ban on the official forums. The moderation for them is all over the place..

 

Trion spent a sh!tload of money on the game when it was brand new to get it out there but then sacked nearly everyone and from what I have gathered is that now there is just a handful of people looking after the game. it is in a word a total clusterfvck....

 

So 4 weeks ago I just quit, removed the game. and haven't looked back.

 

That the TV show has been given a 3rd season is somewhat amazing. Now if  Trion really does not want to look after the game why don't they sell the IP to a company that can look after it and make new content on a regular basis.  

 

Look at SWTOR. It's been out for years and yet we get new content often.  It's also fun to play most of the time...

Only that hasn't quite happened.

 

Trion sacked nearly everyone once the game came online hence why no new content of any kind in nearly 2 years...  Reskinned stuff does not count as "new content"    The game is almost dead too.. No new players in months..

 

Now let's discuss the TV show. Why do some of you think this will be the last season, as the ratings have not been bad?

They've been dropping pretty steadily.  First season was strong, but ratings have been declining since.

And the show is a little trigger happy with cast deaths.  I miss Christie.  *sigh*

Yeah I know... They went all GOT on the McCawleys....... I miss Christie and  Rafe...  At least Alak has  his baby ....

 

Too much focus on the Tarrs kind of killed any enjoyment for me and not enough back story...

 

Having said that the Tarrs are the best part of the show...  But it focuses too much on them.

Amanda isn't especially interesting, Nolan and Irissa are just trying not to talk to each other while staying no further than 100 yards apart, Berlin left to go fight a Sharknado, and there are genuinely no more McCawleys on the planet.  Unless Pilar isn't really dead.  She's been known to not actually be dead before.

They should put Yewll back on intrigue duty.

Interesting that if you run around the Silicon Valley part of the game map you find a ruined Trion building...

There was that one season 2 mission and the very odd cutscene where she gives the ark hunter a really weird look at the end...   I mean if you can have characters like Ara Shondu at Alcatraz just standing around  why not her say at the Crater or Iron Demon Ranch?
