I took out the toy gun the other day and thought it was ok but lacked stopping power. What are people's thoughts on it?
Thoughts on the Disciple...?

It's not too bad on gold with a kit that has accuracy bonuses lol

It has a chance to stagger right? And it's super light... so there's that.

Only good for carrying shotgun Omni-Blade. First shot consistently staggers... that's all it has going for it. Absolutely worthless for actually killing things.

It's alright as a non-host dependent stagger weapon for omniblade, but that's it

It's not too bad.
I don't really like the gun, though.

I use it on the Justicar, because it fits the selection screen.

It's the lightest possible handle for an omniblade. No other use really.
If you got it, use a Talon. Exact same thing but it can kill things. It's also just as ugly in a different way.

Now that I think about it, it seems like a good option for the Krogan Warlord.

I concur. For me, it's one of the most elegant weapons in the game. I used it on my Female Vanguard (I painted her white with light purple stripes).
Krogans look silly with it, on the other hand.

On the TSol with consumables, it is okay (for Gold).

I'd best describe it as "mediocre". It's neither completely useless or good considering its weight. I think they should've made it much more accurate, since its weight prevents it from being powerful. It would've made more sense.

It's a fun weapon.
Pull enemies and then shoot them (and their dead bodies) with the Disciple.
Try it on Vancouver, Condor, or another open map.
Enjoy =).

Usable only on the Justicar. At least for me, anyway. Like Stysiaq, I literally run it on her because she's holding it in the selection screen.
But yeah, it doesn't stagger often enough to make up for it's pitiful damage. I mean...it's a shotgun. Maybe if they had given it a multiplier vs. Shields/Barriers, or allowed this thing to just straight staggerlock enemies like how the GPS/ADAS do, it'd be a good weapon. At the moment, you're gimping yourself using it. Anyone who says otherwise is a hipster.

It's a reasonably well balanced weapon in a category filled with massively OP weapons.

My go to shotgun. Does alright damage. Accuracy is quite good. But who cares, it's main purpose is to knock back enemies so they can't shoot you(apart from hunters) best shotgun to increase non tank classes survival.
