So er...I seem to be kinda buggered here, regardless if I kill Flemeth or not in Morrigan's personal quest, the gift item isn't in either of the chests in Flemeth's hut. All I can find it a shortbow and the robes. I tried using tab to see if there was anything else but it was just those two chests with those two items.

Tried reloading an older save, exiting and re-entering the region. No dice. I don't have any mods that affect this quest or gift items save for the Feastday DLC.

Sounds like a bug to me. :( I presume this is pre-Landsmeet if you're able to fight Flemeth?

Yup yup.

In the end I just enabled the console, got the required mods and added it manually via a script. Running with the steam ultimate edition by the way.

Glad you could use the console :) You'd be really screwed if you weren't playing on PC.

I checked the wiki, FWIW, and while some bugs have been reported with that quest I couldn't see yours listed. I suppose the good news is that it isn't a game stopping bug...it'd just affect Morrigan's friendship arc and romance.

All hail the glorious PC gaming master race! (And the romance is what I was aiming for. Wanted to see how it'd affect Witch Hunt)

Completely off topic, where on earth did the whole elitist PC player come from? We used to be the scrubs!

From: http://knowyourmeme....ing-master-race

The Glorious PC Gaming Master Race is
a facetious label used to attribute superiority to those who play video
games on a personal computer (PC). It is commonly used as a retort in
online debates where console gamers are referred to as “dirty console
peasants.”

On January 23rd, 2008, online video game magazine The Escapist[2] published a review episode of the PC game The Witcher[1] as part of their review series “Zero Punctuation.”[3]
In the video, the narrator quips how The Witcher’s complex structure
makes the gaming experience optimized for PC users so that “those dirty
console playing peasants don’t ruin it for the glorious PC gaming master
race.” Within six years, the episode gathered over 400 comments and 650
Facebook likes on the Escapist website.
