Wow, I don't think I ever encountered such an intolerant thread toward a fictional species. "Please bioware let destroy the Qun"? Because the andrastians are better? It's not even feasible, since you still don't know where the qunari came from... You only know which country they invaded first. For all we know there an entire continent filled with angry qunari.
Bioware please give us the option to eradicate the Qun

No matter where you are Mages will always be in the bottom of the barrel.
However, this demand for Qunari death isn't about mages but because of their way of life.
I don't think killing the Qunari is necessary because people belief over the qunari comes for their religious beliefs and past history.
History of what happens in the past is always writing by the victors and what really happened may not be what we believe happened for History never lies but Historians do.
The Religion of Andraste has brought many issues and even in the ranks of the religion there is corruption and greed. If you remember back in Dawn of the Seeker the events there is a example of the corruption between the religious leaders. Also let not forget how people killed the Qun in Andraste's name because they are Qunari and not members of the Andraste religion.
When members of the Qunari leave the religion they just become non-important but if someone were to leave the religion of Andraste people start picking on the religion they move to and kill them. Petrice was another example of what the majority of the religion of Andraste is like.

Pretty sure people want to wipe out the religion, not the species. Which makes it totally OK
Though to be honest unless the Qunari show a capacity for reform or moderation they haven't yet, it seems like either the Qun or all the other religions in Thedas will end up eradicated.

So something tells me that those wacky Qunari will be back in DA3.
Perhaps they will be the big bad swooping in while the mages and Templars are busy tearing eachother apart?
I'm willing to bet that the vast majority of players killed the Arishok in DA2, so surely their Qun would demand revenge for the death of such an important pillar of their religion.
With Sten as the new Arishok, this would provide a familiar face to the enemy leader, which would be interesting.
MoTA's plot involved them, and I was dissappointed that I could not stop Tallis after finding out who she really was and what she was trying to do.
I would like the option to land a serious blow to the Qun and its followers once again. Killing the first Arishok was great, and I would have no qualms about killing Sten if need be.
Make it happen, Bioware.
Why should they destroy the lore just because you don't like them???????
As long as they don't try to convert people they have the RIGHT to exist.
You want to convert every body to the Chant? Thedas would be boring if everybody followed it.

To quote V "Ideas are bullet proof". You can never "eradicate" the Qun because it is an idea, and ideas can't die. The only way you could possibly eradicate it is to commit genocide against an entire people, and really, would that make you any better than them? Even if you did wipe out all of the Qunari, that wouldn't destroy the idea, the Qun would still exist, there would be documents on it, and another could find it and bring it back.
The kossith as a race need not be annihilated completely. As I have suggested before, the Tal-Vashoth could be spared and integrated into society once the Qunari are purged.
I don't believe the rest of Thedas should sit back and bend over. If the Qunari push, the rest of Thedas should push back. The ordeal will be long and bloody, but as long as freedom is at stake, then so be it.

Can you blame him? When was the last time Sten got any real exercise anyways?
Most likely he has spent his entire time on the Arishok chair saying "No".
Alistair actually goes out a lot more.

But the Tal-Vashoth make up only a small number of Qunari, you would still be wiping out the vast majority of the Qunari people(and still be commiting a genocide) , and what of the Elf, Human, or Dwarf Qunari? The rest of the world need not bend over and take it, but wiping out a people is not the solution. Set boundries, go to war if needed, but do not wipe all of them out over a difference in ideals. After all, the Qunari are only doing what many countries/beliefs did in the real world, expanding and converting and none of them had to be wiped out. After a couple of battles and meetings, boundries will be set, along with what is allowed and not.sandalisthemaker wrote...

I'm jewish. After 3+ milleniums of everybody and his sister, from the Ashurian, phylistines and babilonians through the greek and romans to the christians and muslim, trying to forcibly convert us through turture and murder (and lets not forget the catholic church kidnapping jewish babies, baptise them and put them in christian families to "save their souls")... I can definitely say it's not OK

Are they, really? Qunari mages don't seem to be much worse than any other qunari. They have a place in qunari society, like everyone else, and seem to find contentment in fullfilling it. The saarebas in DA2 prefered to commit suicide than betary the qun; the majority of circle mages, even the non-rebelious ones, don't seem to share that sentiment towards the circle system...
