Smash is OK, but its only a middle of the road power. Probably half of the powers in the game are better. I wouldn't spec out of it, but my biggest beef with it is its L O N G animation, making you an easy target. And odds are, by the time you complete your smash on an enemy, I've already killed it with my Harrier.
Phoenix Smash most powerfull power?

You can fit a heavy melee in before you can smash anyways iirc.
