Please bring it back! The dual wield warrior was the build i liked the most in Dragon Age: Origins and was very disappointed to see it removed in Dragon Age II. I want to feel like spartacus again! Using two full sized swords or one sword and one dagger was cool!

kthxbye

Hope so. The more number of builds possible, the better for me. Heavens seemed to open up when I tried a DW warrior in Origins.

Hey, while you're at it, why not give fighters trap and lock skills, and maybe a blue bar, so that there's absolutely no reason to play any other class?

I like that they remove this in DA2 , made playing a rouge kinda pointless. If you want to give warrior more options then Spears aand Shields are where its at

OT, yes.

Just following the logical progression.  Not that I understand why it was taken away in the first place.

There is no reason they couldn't have made dual wielding individualistic to each class.

I think there are more interesting possibilities for warrior weapon choices than dual wielding. Like bows or pole-arms.

If they can re-use a lot of rogue animations to make it easy, then I wouldn't mind, I guess.

Somewhat, but I'd rather they address that by making rogue perks actually, genuinely useful rather than limiting damage warriors to a single weapon type.

Lockpicking and trap dismarming has never been as beneficiall in Dragon Age as I'd have liked.

I always rather thought it was dual wield warriors which were pointless in DA2. They were just rogues without backstabbing.

Hi.

http://social.bioware.com/group/4269/

DW warriors were great fun. I would support not just their return, but the return of more options in character development through combat, such as warrior archers and the ability to wear most armours regardless of class.

A dual wielding warrior and a dual wielding backstabbing rogue was two completely different gameplay experience for me. You know, activated talents vs autoattacking, two different approach. There were plenty of reasons to play a party supported cunning based rogue and a strength based-massive armor wearing full sized weapon wielding warrior.

Warrior and rogues dual wielding are completely different, and each has its own utility.

I don't know why you people are saying that the rogue wouldn't have any utility if a warrior had Dual Wield, given that the skills would be completely different.
Rogues rely on stealth and utilities to survive with high damaging skills, while warrior rely on their heavy armor and have utilities that are great for CC'ing.

IMO, the rogue skills are awesome for spike damage while the warrior is a great sustained and tank. This wouldn't change with dual wielding, maybe dual wielding could differ from two handed by giving it less cleave radius but increasing single target damage?

I'm just saying, restricting it to dual daggers isn't very cool.
