Oh, hey, the "different opinion" option has the most votes. Quelle surprise.
Anyway, no, there's nothing wrong with EDI's body, and reactionary flailing in response to it is rather irksome.
So, you dispute that it's a cliche and that placing a hostile infiltrator robot unguarded in the AI core is a dumb thing to do?Anyway, no, there's nothing wrong with EDI's body
It's called "maths" - if you split the 75% majority into ten equal parts then each will be smaller than the 25% minority. Amazing, isn't it?Quelle surprise.
Everything is a cliche if you look at it that way, and putting the robot body there has nothing to do with the merits of the robot body itself. In any case, EDI was deliberately examining it and trying to extract data. So, you dispute that it's a cliche and that placing a hostile infiltrator robot unguarded in the AI core is a dumb thing to do?
Thus far, there's only a majority by 19-16.It's called "maths" - if you split the 75% majority into ten equal parts then each will be smaller than the 25% minority. Amazing, isn't it?

I do like how it's addressed directly in the game. I think Donnelly's reference is the best.
And why is this?MassivelyEffective0730 wrote...
Too many options. Streamline it.
I hate the EDI's body and Joker love bit.

I hated it. It took up a squadmate position that could've been filled by a ME2 character.
It was better in the ship like it was in ME2.
I would like to of had the option to tell it to get out of the platform or risk the airlock.

Also, as synthetics are unlikely to accidentally exert too much strength, I really doubt that Joker's bones would be a huge issue.
Are you sure? She may have altered her programming to take more enjoyment from sex. I hardly see why its my business to tell Joker and EDI what's best for them or not, if they genuinely like each other. EDI certainly seems to be interested for purposes other than research.Mangalores wrote...

Well, however you put it, it's creepy and it would be healthy for Joker to meet someone. EDI is an AI, it's not really that "it" should be even interested in this kind of thing beyond research. Yes, she is a person, that doesn't mean she suddenly gets a sexdrive by possessing a hot android body or something.
It would be less cheesy if they played it straight aka have EDI reject Joker because she knows she cannot give him what he needs beyond being a good friend because she isn't anything remotely the same as a human being (even if she is as valuable as an individual).
I wonder why we couldn't boink Grunt or Wrex... and I implore you not to Google that!

EDI was fine when she was just the ship. I'm OK with the idea of giving her a body, but not one that's incredibly sexualized. I'd even be OK with a bot that has the option to become "sexy," but her permanently walking around in that body annoyed me.
