The squadmates in ME 3 had three or four outfits compared to two in ME 2. And those outfits were nothing but a color swap. The different outfits in ME 3 actually have different structures and designs. In addition, James, Ashley, and I'm assuming Kaidan don't wear their armor on the Normandy, so you wouldn't be able to change it anyway.

Calling it a 'cut corner' when things have clearly been expanded is silly.

M'kay maybe it wasn't a cut corner.   *shrug*

Still, I wanted my armor swaps seen on the Normandy in ME 2 also in ME 3.  They added a personal touch to the ingame dialogue for me like romances did.  Human squad members, or at least the military ones, would wear the shirt sleeves like the rest of the crew.

I don't know, Arg. I think it would have been strange if EDI was able to build anything in secret... And a little frightening. Her random takeover of an enemy bot was concerning enough. Either way, I don't think there's enough time to give either scenario enough to make it not feel contrived in some way.

But to each their own. I was the one ****ing about a lack of attention paid to the cloned Rachni, so...

THIS AGAIN.

Might as well talk about Synthesis and Destroy while we're at it, or is this already being talked about?

Where's Jack?

Not all of us have the art book. Mind posting the passage you're talking about?

Also, the art book had plenty of things that didn't make it to the game, such as Reaper-TIM, so it's not canon anyway.

It's basically the the same attitude that went into Ashley, more of the look "more sexy mindset".

I'll post it, for no other reason than the fact that I like looking at the other designs they considered:

The diffrence being the two can not be compared. SOmeone has already linked it. They had plenty of designs, but there purpose was to make her "sexy". So yes, they made her a sexbot on purpose for the sole reason of being sexy. Bioware outright says it.

It starts with "She needed to be sexy." Why did she need to be sexy? We all know why.

Read the writing pls. It proves people who hate the body and complain about it being a sexbot have alot of merit.

So what? Yeah, it's designed to be sexy, and they explicitly say so. What's your point?

That's not always needed, nor is the camel.  Are they expecting new or old fans not to take her seriously if she doesn't look sexy, or any character for that matter?

That train of thought should have never been present when doing stuff for EDI. It's balant "fan service" for the horny males just like how in each game, all the female curves got bigger for no reason but fan service. If you can not see the problem or why people have issues then I have nothing else to say.

Sure it does. That's what science is all about. Doing cool stuff for the hell of it. Don't listen to all that boring philosophical crap.

Not really

"Science isn't about why, it's about why not!"

But yeah, I just found EDI's body to be...too over the top. That and the whole 'Eve Core' thing with TIM...implications unpleasent....

And lol not to mention dat ****** if you put clothes on her. Subtle, Bioware, subtle. But hell, look at how they mangled Ash, I wasn't suprised. I was a bit peeved you couldn't tell EDI to get the hell outta that body of a Cerberus AI though. Or if you Shepard was so inclined, for her to stop trying to act like a actual person.

To re-quote one of Arg's statements

You can create sexy characters without oversexualizing their character models.
