I'm even surprised with Jack's redesign.
Top right too masculine?

I'll post it, for no other reason than the fact that I like looking at the other designs they considered:
Too bad they didn't use the top right one.
I actually like the idea of where they were going with the lower-left head model. If they had dropped that on top of EDI's alternate appearance from the download pack (with a few, uh, slight modifications), it could've been interesting.

I'm biased and saying ME2 is better. I don't really like the whole I like Jack better because she looks better mindset (not pointing towards you, but I've seen this so many times).

That alternate appearence ain't bad. It's a shame one can't remove the boobs.

So rather than a discussion about the troubling implications of the robot fetish EDI represents this topic has gone into feminism land? I am disappointed but unsurprised.

Feminism is always tough. I know a (that means one) feminist that I really respect personally, but I also know a whole bunch who just like to think they are being systematically oppressed. I usually don't go into this on the internet <.<

If said person has been in circumstances that fall under "happening" to everyone and doesn't necessarily or hasn't been taught how to deal with it in a way, that will lead them to commit themselves in a negative cycle - is that a good thing, or is that persons fault, or societies? Or both?
Just because it happens to everyone, doesn't mean it's justifiable and not everyone can deal with the same situation in an equal matter, that would prove to be just another thing to get past in life.

Yeah, that comic is predicated on the assumption that fat men don't get made fun of (which, in a fantastic bit irony, the comic itself does), and that women don't ogle attractive men.Darth Brotarian wrote...

But what can I say, I'm a white straight man; I make my checks out to privilege and oppress everything I can.
In all seriousness, a gender politics debate on BSN would be horrific. Let's try and not go there.

No you assume. Not liking something because it was for sex appeal only is not the same as being prudish. Fun fact. I loved TW2 and only had an issue with one character design so ya, you can stop asusming crap like me being prudish. It just makes you look worse.Optimystic_X wrote...

Better yet, I loved Isabelas design in DA2 and defended it.
