I liked EDI better when she was the ship. I also liked Legion better when Legion was Legion. You know before Walters got hold of them and made them into Pinocchios.
But I get it. The whole point was to get you to do some benign anthropomorphizing of synthetics and bring out some racism, so that you'd apply your moral standards to them.

You do realize that just duplicating synthetic minds doesn't bring the original consciousness back, yes? Death is death regardless, especially for beings that don't have huge amounts of backups. But I get it. The whole point was to get you to do some benign anthropomorphizing of synthetics and bring out some racism, so that you'd apply your moral standards to them.

I get that was designed for combat but I doubt the visor isn't gonna do much
It's like tech armor, so yes, it would.

i thought it was holographic, beside what use is tech armor that only covers the eye's?

Not sure I get this. What made Legion become like Pinocchio?

Why do we only wear goggles when doing shop work?

I thought Shepard gears up the squaddies with zoomies like visors. (and could of just ordered Edi to look different?)

cause a tiny peice of material hitting your eye will do far more damage than if it hits your skin. but we're talking about a combat robot and battlefield conditions, so i don't really think the same logic applies (though i could be wrong so...)

Cerberus likes 'em curvy.
I think that gal who ran Edi's body before she acquired it had something to do with it tho...
The cerbuerus tech did seem to like a female voice, they programmed it that way, Edi was sentient at the time, but didn't let them know it. Still licking wounds from the Moon and Shepard going all luddite on her...

Could Joker have been a possilble heterosexual LI for femShep? No! of course not. Why? Shepard didn't have enough metal. But EDI? The sex bot? Yeah baby! Go for it Joker!
Not everyone is thrilled at the idea of sleeping with their boss. The universe doesn't revolve around Shepard.
The Sentry Interface has better shields than Shepard's N7 Helmet. It even protects better than the Kestrel Helmet and Death Mask. Your argument is invalid.AresKeith wrote...

the sex bot moniker came from none other than Jack. Edi made her insecure?

What does Jack have to do with anything? I'm talking about Julia's apparent bitterness over Joker's refusal to sex up her Shepard.

Sorta, but you also have to think about the repair/healing process if an accident were to actually happen. Even if she's incredibly durable, I'm pretty sure her optics would be hellacious to replace in comparison to the rest of her platform.
She should probably be outfitted with full sentinel-style armor, but I can buy some logic behind the visor.
