It will be hilarious when the BSN social justice crusader types start posting their suggestions for such a game.

I'm fairly certain sex isn't even a thing space marines think about. They'll have nothing to suggest.

You think that will stop BSN?

Well, they'd probably be concerned with first getting Sisters of Battle and the Eldar into the game before worrying about whether you can romance the shy, nerdy Wraithlord.

Bioware can't do subtle anymore though.

Is Warhammer subtle? In the grim darkness of the far future there is only war...nya

Yeah, subtlety is the word that is least associated with 40K. Granted, their non-subtely lies on the completely opposite end of the scale from Bioware's.

True,Bioware's brand of subtlety is having a murderous space succubus targetting the sole virginal innocent white girl in a lawless space station full of lowlife scum or having an autist unrdergo clockwork orange cruxifiction.

40K doesn't have THAT kind of lack of subtlety.

So, with Bioware will we get the first gay Space Marine (maybe in pink armor) or the first lesbian Sister of Battle?

I can't wait to see Orks as a misunderstood honorable savage race that we need to recruit to fight the Necron.

It will most likely be about an Inquisitor since you can do more in the way or Romance/Storyline. Perhaps you start as part of some henchmen and all but you and two others die trying to do something and you have to spend the game rebuilding your unit and try what your master tried again,

Romance is heresy, you know that.

The end of Mass Effect 3 now makes sense: Shepard, The reapers, Cerberus, they did everything they did out of shame knowing they'd  never be Ultramarines. Hell, I'm suprised we didn't see any Cerberus troopers gluing horse shoes to their armor.
And you know what, an Ultramarine could have saved the child, because they are the pinnacle of Space Marines, who are the pinnacle of everything.

"I spoke of perfection, ascension and salvation through destruction. But I know that I can never truly be perfect, that I have always been jealous that I could never measure up to the Ultramarines, bwaaaaaaaaaaaaa"

^ No. Their instinct for war-waging and their unpredictability makes them gross.

Lol, I'd pay money to see this, just for the comedy value and the ensuing train wreck or outcries and delicious tears if they adhere to the lore and universe of 40k.

Wait, the tears of the social justice crusaders and tolerance fanatics if Bioware sticks to the lore, or the tears of the purists and nostalgians if they disregard chunks of it to soften it?

I'll do what I always do when a company craps all over the universe. Refuse to acknowledge it exists. I've done that with the current re write of the 40k universe lore and silly additions. I don't acknowledge the existence of anything after the 4th edition.

I'll simply laugh at the train wreck Bioware makes of it, or if they stick to the lore, then I laugh at the tears of the social justice crusaders. Either way, I win.

Well, if Bioware makes its own edition, it will probably be unrecognizable to its predecessors. That should make it easier to ignore.

It's what I did with Mass effect 3. Apart from the MP I refuse to acknowledge that the single player game exists. With the exception of winding up the Talimancers and other factions by supporting the Geth, and calling the Quarians a bunch of incompetent belligerent pirates, that one rustled their jimmies

Hey, there's no reason that people of a different orientation can't role play a character, they just have to align with Slaanesh. All about the open minded approach that guy.

Hopefully there's a romancable sister of battle with inane daddy issues that can be the game's Miranda analogue.

Oh, you don't have to worry about the latter, according to fa/tg/uys half of the Sisters are raging lesbians (and the other half are bisexual), with an exception being made for the Emprah, of course.
