I've been thinking about what killed ME3 MP the most...

It also allowed Bioware to test and develop new powers, but other races to abilities and stats and could make ME 4, in whatever context, a better game gameplay-wise.
Having a side game live and still active after 1.25 YEARS is dying? I am sure all game developers would love to have that "problem".

A. Lack of several heavily requested features
B. End of support after only one year

AIU does not bother me that much I dont see her as any more powerful than TGI at all. Juggernaught is fine, But that reegar OMG, cant stand it wish I could filter my games to never play with anyone using a reegar. Also Harrier noobs make me kinda sick as well...same broken OPed class TGI+harrier and some noob thinking he is awesome by exploiting such an easy setup.

For those who like us have a great love for the series the troll store is a forgivable shortcoming, but it indeed has driven several friends off from the game, especially those who took on the MP late in the hour and found they'd have to spent their lives on it if they wanted to catch up with me manifest-wise.Tallgeese_VII wrote...
I think GJ is very harmful to overall game longevity with new players.
RNG store is pretty bad... but sometimes I cannot tell if it helps the game or hurts the game. Maybe 50/50

I think it's more becomeing a race now to see if the me3 mp severs go down for good or EA goes bankrupt. Given the recent news of how EA has been doing the last couple of months, I'd say EA goes under before the mp does.

Reegar I agree with. I literally quit any match I see a noob reegar running around in. You are garanteed to see at least ONE reegar every match. That and flamer noobs jesus. The worst is AIU with reegar, I almost puke when I see one.

Yep, I haven't played in a very long time. I've moved onto Borderlands 2 for my coop fix.Draining Dragon wrote...

Now that's a scenario I find plausible.

Ah who plays with nothing but Juggernaught? Sure you are not just making stuff up and tyrying to pass it off as something other than a ****** poor flame?
oh I forgot you are adding nothing constructive to the conversation, just trying to flame people. Juggers don't bother me as long as there is only one. They aren't score ****rs and usually stck to objectives. And they dont run around with OPed guns wiping out all the spawns.
Kind of a big difference, and as far as playing one all the time, I think probably you should trya nd grow up. Thanks

Take a look at your manifest, wonnabe. And you defend the juggernauts like nothing. I've seen enough poor played juggernauts that simply bled out during the wave 10 objective because they were too cheap to buy medgel - because they think that's slowing down their UR progression. Sounds familiar? It's noobs like them who help killing the game because zero medgel players on gold + are a pain in the *** for all of us. And you have the nerve to flame people for using the harrier but oddly the harrier challenges are one of the few challenges you have finished. After 765 games, that's more than telling. I'm done arguing with you.

As for what caused the sharpest part of the decline in the MP I'd say it'd be the fact that the last DLC came out. I know what kept me playing the most (I still do play, but less) was knowing that there was more DLC and trying to get things from the past DLC unlocked before the new one came out.

It's sucks that there not supporting the multiplayer anymore, but I honestly felt like this was always really a beta test for future games. Isn't that why we were given tons of different characters and kits instead of maps?

Which comes back to consoles preventing BW from releasing patches that could have been used to improve the game.
ME3 would have survived much longer as PC only imo.
This game wouldn't even exist without consoles. Console sales is what pays for the development of most games these days.

If anything the juggy, AIU, TGI, and the other crutch classes are keeping this game alive. People with lesser gaming skill (which is a big portion of the playerbase) would have quit a long time ago if they couldn't play gold or plat for credits.
I completely agree. Games should be balanced for player skill, not for power. A good player can outscore all of the above classes. But they allow newer players to find their way into higher difficulties which is very important to keep the game alive.

Therefore I conclude not dead!
Obviously many disagree & that's fine - go play something else. As for the rest of us we will keep enjoying the ride.
