Why do you play Krogan Warlord? Is it the hammer time?

 Why do people insist on playing the Krogan Warlord, if only thing they do is get sync killed? Last night 2 gold games with my friend and we took 2 pugs. Both times there was a Krogan Warlord and i'm not lying -> sync killed / killed every wave. Lord jesus if they would even help but 30 k points in gold match is not much of a help.... and don't get me started about the missions. Before a drone was even activated i would see scull on my screen.

My question is: Why do you people play Krogan Warlord if they can't even survive 1 wave? Is it for the lolz (hammer time), because that i would somehow get. But 10 waves and spectating most of the time, can that even be funny anymore? Discuss... just kidding :P

I play it because he's the only character short of an Infiltrator with a Javelin X that can take out eight bars of boss armour in one hit.

He's powerful. And fun. PUGs gonna PUG.

I play it as a krogan sniper with a raptor with extended clip, ulm and exploisive rounds.

If you're getting synced more than once per match (on average) you're doing it wrong. Utilize ramps against banshees and don't be stupid. The other bosses telegraph their sync kills. There's no excuse for being synced by an Atlas.

Its the player, not the character.

Headbutting and smashing things with a big hammer while laughing like a maniac does seem rather enjoyable. But you have to be aware that he is not very nimble and adjust your playstyle accordingly.

Easiest solution: Play against Geth, no sync-killers, nuff said.
Second: "Use the slope Luke"
Third: Watch the boss tutorial videos from the resource thread, it explains sync-killers.

That and I laugh when I see everyone else go down as him / never see a BSNer go down as him / all the scrubs around me die as I hammer the last Prime to death.

Yeah Krogan with bigass hammer is cool :D . And i do know it's the players not the character...People must think him as a easy gold character, which imo he is not.

Oh my!! That's a drive. None of those was seen last night, only Tiger trying to swing his hammer on those Banshees and failing miserably

It does take a bit of finesse to keep him from getting sync killed though...

When I first unlocked him, I tried a Silver solo and had way too much fun melee-ing all the things...until I met a Gaurdian and timed out on the assassination objective. I can't really Krolord because of low obstacles, though. :(

It definately still works. You just have to make sure you are at a diffeence elevation. And it isn't just for Banshees.

He is a perfect kit when you are tried of flippin around or running to ammo boxes or planning out attacks and such. No nonsense, takes a beating, and damn near impossible to die without a snyc kill.

And as linked, the BEST melee combo in the game bar none! Head Smack to You Annoy Me Slap, to the PIMP HAND. SOLD!

Because he is the definition of awesome. Built right, you drop mooks with a light melee, lieutenants with a running melee, and the bosses with a melee combo ending with a Biotic Hammer.

When I unlocked him, I took him (level 15) into a Silver solo against Geth on Glacier. I extracted without using a single medigel.
