I couldn't play the Fury until I tried an alternative build with no AF.  This allows me to max shields, and powers to play from a distance rather than CQC.

Everyone derides this build, but I find it works ok.

I normally use an Eagle with Commando package. Works well up to Gold.

But Best?  I still favour the Asari Vanguard just for the sheer fun of it.

I, personally, find her annoying as h*ll (well, I find most kits who use reave/shockwave more annoying than hex shields). 

But, good for you, OP.

For me, however,  my love goes to the Cabal...

But the action is so frantic when playing her that I'm not so sure about that ...

You have to set off a biotic explosion when a target with shields or barriers is primed by AF to get yours refilled.  It doesn't work on unshielded targets.  Also with AF active, you won't be damaged by Swarmers, since they will be killed once they come into contact with the field.

Correct.  Annihilation Field Barrier/Shield Drain Evolution will drain the enemy's Barriers/Shields equivalent to ANY damage you inflict onto it.  Throws, Dark Channel, Biotic Explosion(s), weapon impacts, punches, kicks, and even just standing beside it and watch Annihilation Field slowly siphon as it does damage.

Yeah but it's not the enemy, it's the map. Nothing but reapers is easy as a fury on an open map. And that's just because reapers are ridicolously easy in general. When you're playing on Condor, Geth are no worse than Cerberus or Collectors. More annoying, sure, but not harder.

Huh? Cerberus and Collectors don't have primes with turrets and drones. Sure, scions are nasty but they can't pin you down like primes. Let's play Condor with all enemies except Reapers and I'll see how you cope with the fury vs Geth.

No I won't, sorry. I will never consciously decide to play against Geth. It's ok if I get it as unknown, but set enemy? Nope. They're just too damn frustrating to me. But they're not harder than cerberus or collectors on an open map, in my opinion.
