I still mainly pug, though I alternate between silver and gold between how I'm feeling. Been focusing more on gold since I want credits so the RNG can finally bless me with the talon, or to a lesser extent, the indra since it's the only things missing from my manifest. The first time I used the GI was in a pug recently, now I can see the love for the class. Matches can be brutal though. I feel like sometimes I have to join random games as a TGI or AIU incase I get a lesser group. Should probably challenge myself more in such circumstances.
arrogantentitledlolmerican wants to know how many USA based pugs on lolps3 are still out there?

I play PUGs and I'm in Nebraska. Deadeye, you dropped into my lobby earlier and promptly dropped back out... did my lobby smell or something?
smells like teen spirit? lol you had it set to U/U and i usually just back out of those because biower finds it funny to give ps3 players collectors in most cases so i just avoid most unknown faction pugs

I pug when I don't have a lot of time to play ,that way I don't feel bad about leaving after one game.

my poor thread.... went from a curiosity of how many USA hosts are still pugging. To me being arrogantentitledlolmerican scrub, to bacon4breakfasts porn fiasco... to now everytime i'm playin with TMB i'm gonna have this thought of him in a drell suit wearing a 10 gallon hat with spawn point postits stuck under the rim.... thanks BSN.... thanks hahahaha.

Don't play with TMB. Let me play with him.
I pug from time time. Because as TMB said, it's good practice. With people in AHF and my FL Gold seems a walk in the park. If I happened to catch a ride with some amazing players, plat is like bronze. They make stupid mistakes and it's OK. Which is not good.
Yes there are some lags. But I have lag even playing with US hosts if they are located on the West Coast. Nothing to bad. And I enjoy meeting and talking to people from a different culture so it's just a plus.

public is all i can do at the moment, no one on my friend list. I'm no expert mind you, but i can handle bronze and silver fine(would like a reliable learning curve for other two but its not always possible in my experience in public games).

I PUG Gold here and there. Play with AHF (Alliance Hazard Force) members for the most part, though.
