   Hello, i know i should've opened this topic in Technical section but the last reply has been made 6 months ago in tech forum.

I played and finished dao several times 2-3 years ago and haven't played it since then. I have 2discs retail version of dao and awakenings retail disc. I also had a couple of DA:O DLCs but i can't seem to find their codes and don't know how to authorize them. Long story short, im really confused about whole patch-mod-dlc order and don't want to screw my installation. Can someone point me to a topic about these issues or help me first hand ? I also would like to know how can i access those DLCs i payed for, a long time ago.  Thanks in advance and excuse me for my crappy english.

Regarding asking technical Q's you'll have to use the outside forum you access by clicking on the link to the DAO forum called "Dragon Age: Origins Answer HQ Technical Support" unless folks want to field this). I posted a problem there recently that I've been having with temporary initial origin companions getting extra talents if I save and reload, but it's gotten zero replies. Your problem, however, is a common one already mentioned there, and plenty of solutions to it are already stickied at the top for it. You'll probably need to use the updater tool that comes with your game- can't recall the name at present- but you'll read exactly what to do if you check out the solved cases.

I recently deleted my entire game and re-installed through Steam to find all my DLCs gone, and after I logged in during the game, it auto-installed everything except for Awakenings for some reason. Then a few days later it auto-installed Awakenings too. So keep in mind that even if you do the right thing it can still take time for the EA server to process it properly...
