Hi All: Just asking will there be armors for our companions, do we pick which armor they use on battlefield or all of them have their own default armors? For me I like choosing what armors my companions can wear in ME 1, I hope this figure will be in ME 2 someday

I think it's safe to assume you can customize what they wear as in the first game, probably even in more detail, since ME 2 is improving all of the elements of the first game.

Each squad mate has a default costume that you can upgrade once.
There are probably research projects for armor upgrades that apply to the entire team. Or maybe it's a combination of their class + level. We don't know.

Well the auto-upgrades mentioned on the blog regarding weapons seem pretty handy, given (as mentioned) that you can also customize them yourself.
"At the start of every mission you’ll be given a chance to set weapons for your squad. At this point you can override any choices the auto-upgrade system has made. This is also your chance to customize Shepard’s weapons, including his heavy weapon."

I believe I read somewhere that they all have some default armor and then you can unlock differnt armor for them during play..,
Only example we have seen so far i believe is SuZe:s vest.

I keep hearing people talking about some armor Samara's wearing, but I've also heard people say it's the same as her costume in her trailer.

Hi, do you think Miranda or Jacob would have special armor from Cerberus for hard battles or deadly planets you visit. When I saw the Launch Trailer and didn't see any of them with armor, I guess that why they died lol. I hope there is armor for companion, if there isn't I asked the devs for dlc that Shepard can make armor for his companion. For me I like the option when you can have armor for your squad then their default outfit.

:pinched:so the huge shoping list of gear options is gone? really liked the different armours etc, having people wearing the same armour all the time sounds fail
