Earlier I read someone say they didn't pug much on PS3.  Something about it being scary lol.

I'm thinking, "Eh, it's not that bad."  Most of the time, there's at least 1 other good player.  So, for my last game of the night, I land in this lobby.

A Fury with an Avenger, Krolord with a Katana, and I don't even remember what the Human Adept had - something ineffective, I'm sure.  That's when I said what's in the title - "Hm. Smells like a solo."  Lol.  So the first wave or two, I want to get a feel for how they'll do.  I just kind of stroll around leaving most things to them.  At the end of the round, I still had the highest score.  So I play conservatively, and despite everyone dropping, I manage to make it to wave 7 without having used any gels or ops packs.  From here, they go down at the beginning of each wave, leaving me with an essentially full spawn budget.  I pull it out, and perhaps fittingly, get lone survivor extraction.

Image IPB

The Adept and Fury would just about go down as quickly as it took something to get to them lol.  The Warlord would manage to stay alive a bit longer than the other two but also go down very early in the wave.

I just thought this was funny right after I read someone complaining about PS3 pugs.

Pretty much a normal ps3 pug match tbh. Think I have came across you a couple of times though. So we have had at least a couple of easy matches!! Well done for actually getting a pug to get over 90k

I've occasionally had scores come in that lopsided.

It's usually when I started alone, and soloed the first 4 waves, or something.

Even if you soloed the first four waves, 42 minutes is an awfully long time. How did that happen?

Should have blacked out the time. Prepare to have the BSN descend upon you. You see, you didn't really carry the match unless you did it in 20 minutes or less and scored above 200k.

On topic, that looks like the low end of Gold PUGs to me. I'd expect to see that in a Platinum PUG, though.

ETA: Sort of agree with LineHolder, but not sure if bleeding out every wave qualifies as "pulling your weight".

I don't see the Human Adept.

Decided to quote it, because I'm curious. You mention others dying, and it looks like you used a Huntress (ie you could drop aggro.)

So, with that time, and those pictures, I'm thinking you let people die, didn't revive them (lone survivor seems to support that.) and may well have been excessively using duration-specced tactical cloak, which would explain the 42 minute time.

If that's the case, and you used Dark Channel to hide the whole time while DoT killed everything, I gotta say you should have been able to keep your team alive. If you were taking that kind of time to kill the enemies, you certainly could have taken the 8 seconds to revive your team-mates at the same time. And even with a damage-specc'd tactical cloak, reviving teammates is easy.

Doesn't look so much like you carried, kinda looks more like you hid behind 3 meat shields. But pictures can only say so much, really.

Wow.. I understand everything... except the reason why it took over 40 minutes...
The game probably would have went faster if you gave up on helping the teammates.

BTW, I just finished a game
where there was a weirest leecher...

he played Geth trooper, stay in one spot during almost entier game... either use flamer or gun, heavy melee... until enemy effectively kills him. What a weird guy. Didn`t score that much higher than your last guy, but I had 2 other good teammates so game was smooth.

In my experience, that's pretty much the norm. The best I can hope for when PUGging it is that I'll get at least one other player who can stay alive. I get any less than that, and a wipe becomes possible.

I always go out of my way to revive teammates:  up until it puts the mission at risk.  I literally drop what I'm doing to go revive, even across the map.  Many of my matches in the past have scrubbed because I took reviving teammates too far.  During this game, I even focused on enemies that my teammates were fighting, which in turn kept them alive longer.  On the extraction wave, I had no gels/ops left.  I barely made the run myself.  If I stop to revive, no one extracts.

If I go down, the mission fails:  simple as that.  Once I started to get low on gels/ops, I kited enemies away to still revive.  Even managed to get them about half the time, despite everything still being alive.  If I go rushing in with 5 sec cloak and a combat drone that ignores my invisibility, I'm asking for trouble.  Get hit once and it's a stagger - then cloak runs out, and I get gunned down by the two Primes and multiple Rocket Troopers still alive.  Anyone that has played with me knows that "hiding behind meat shields" is not my M.O.

And hm.  I don't remember saying I carried anything.  I said I pulled it out; in doing so, I attempted to remove any connotation of bravado.

I actually burned through several ops/gels attempting to keep people alive.

Most PUGs actually need a silent hero who takes them through a Gold/Plat game. That, or find another lobby, both tactics work.;)

What she means are that the loadout screen has higher level kits than the score screen.  Where they taken after the match?

As I recall my Huntress Gold solo only took about 40 mins.

Hm, on the first screen there is a fury, a sabouteur and a warlord, levels 17, 18, 16 respectively. On the second screen there is a fury, a human adept and a warlord, same levels. On the end screen there is an adept (fury), engineer (sabouteur?) and a sentinel (warlord) but levels 15, 18, 13.

???
