Hm, on the first screen there is a fury, a sabouteur and a warlord, levels 17, 18, 16 respectively. On the second screen there is a fury, a human adept and a warlord, same levels. On the end screen there is an adept (fury), engineer (sabouteur?) and a sentinel (warlord) but levels 15, 18, 13.

Your pictures don't match what you say.
In what way.

So this thread got to two pages based entirely on blowhard posts? Interesting...
Hey, Simba. Does anyone quote The Lion King at you when you go down in a PUG? And if not, wanna add me so I can finally put my encyclopedic knowledge of The Lion King to good use?

I love Lion King.
When I watch it now, I finally see the genius parallels to the human world.
For example, the whole sequence with Nana persuading Simba to come back. She basically has to put out to make Simba do anything about his uncle turning the whole kingdom into an island of despair.

I always go out of my way to revive teammates: up until it puts the mission at risk. I literally drop what I'm doing to go revive, even across the map. Many of my matches in the past have scrubbed because I took reviving teammates too far. During this game, I even focused on enemies that my teammates were fighting, which in turn kept them alive longer. On the extraction wave, I had no gels/ops left. I barely made the run myself. If I stop to revive, no one extracts.
If I go down, the mission fails: simple as that. Once I started to get low on gels/ops, I kited enemies away to still revive. Even managed to get them about half the time, despite everything still being alive. If I go rushing in with 5 sec cloak and a combat drone that ignores my invisibility, I'm asking for trouble. Get hit once and it's a stagger - then cloak runs out, and I get gunned down by the two Primes and multiple Rocket Troopers still alive. Anyone that has played with me knows that "hiding behind meat shields" is not my M.O.
And hm. I don't remember saying I carried anything. I said I pulled it out; in doing so, I attempted to remove any connotation of bravado.

Well, to be fair, the post-match screen has conflicting info compared to the pre-match screen (of which there are two shots of the pre-match screen, with one containing an Engineer and one containing two Adepts, so which is it?).
Mostly this:
Pre-match Fury Adept is Level 17 in both pre-match shots. Pre-match Human Male Adept is Level 18 in second pre-matchshot. Pre-match Engineer is Level 18 in first pre-match shot. Pre-match Sentinel is Level 16 in both pre-match shots..
Post-match one Adept (which one, Human Male or Fury?) is now Level 15 (so, either one regressed in levels?). Post-match Engineer is Level 18 (makes sense). Post-match Sentinel is Level 13 (so, again, regressed in levels?).
That's what's confusing. I'm thinking you've got some wrong screenshots uploaded or confused some screenshot links.

I think I might have played with you yesterday. You were a fury on Jade and someone tanked on gold. Then we played on Hazard Ghost. I was the QMI that ended up duoing half the waves we did.

I suppose I may have come across as harsh, I just found some of your statements surprising. It sounded a lot like you were criticizing the PuGs and saying you had to do all the work, but the pictures and your statements didn't seem to support that story. You said you couldn't revive them becaue you were out of gel and ops packs, but you also said you had all of those until Wave 7. You said two players were adepts, but your score screen says Engineer/Sentinel/Adept.
I didn't mean to misinterpret your statements as an E-peen thread about carrying bad PuGs.

Most PUGs actually need a silent hero who takes them through a Gold/Plat game. That, or find another lobby, both tactics work.

anyways, thats pretty much PS3 pugs. Occasionally I run into the amazing PUG, but those are EXTREMELY rare. It's like finding a 500$ bill on the floor.

So it doesn't happen then lol.

I honestly wonder why so many keep on trying to get carried. I don't believe there are so many carry-capable gold/plat players, they must fail a lot. Perhaps the wave 6 cash-in is already rewarding enough for these guys?
My impression(which is just that) on pc gold/plat is that there's about 4/10 who are on the wrong difficulty level, 4/10 who are decent enough (not dead weight, but can't carry), 2/10 who are good to elite and may carry.
I personally can't understand how you can have fun knowing that your actions have little to no impact on how the game is going. And if you can't have fun, why play at all?

Not that rare. I've found several good lobbies over the last few months, but not once in my life have I ever found a 500$ bill heh.

Maybe a bit of a hyperbole, but I can actually count with two hands the amount of good lobbies I've been in PUGwise.
