Yup, exactly like what was suggested in that thread! Unfortunate that it never got made, though...shadowhawk233 wrote...

Hey by the way did you notice that the me3explorer forums are down?

Would be a bit weird if you have Alenko in the game and you as shepard look just like him. Shep is a special case because he is the only morphable character with no hard set face. There is the default face which MIGHT be changeable...

Thanks! I'll see to it that you receive many internets!Getorex wrote...
I believe that with the less-than-desireable fix for Me3explorer problems I will go ahead and start in on mods again...but keep any texture mods that go with them separate and with an advisory. I will look at replacing default EDI with EVA, including swapping EVA's head in for EDI's. It is structurally the same except for the hair mesh. Should be fairly straight forward.

^ Wow! You, sir, are amazing! Good luck with the texturing.
In the meantime, I'm going to try applying the Ashley romance texture. So, should I be using the older me3explorer for that, as you said? And is it applied through texplorer or mod maker?
Edit: Okaaaay, I think I did something wrong. I ran the mod under mod maker, looked at the romance scene, and Ash's face in "the morning after" was... scary. Lol. Also, her bra was still on.
I tried running it with the old ME3explorer linked by ottemis, but I think I got lost somewhere in between. I backed up my pre-modded CookedPCC folder and am replacing it with that at the moment.

Aww, I wish I would've gotten one, but I was so traumatized (I'm a hardcore Ashmancer. LOL), I immediately canned the CookedPCC folder and replaced it with my backed up one... it works normally, now.Getorex wrote...

Ah...the texture needs to be recreated with the OLD ME3explorer. The new one will screw things up. Ashley's face was scary in the morning after?! I've never seen that but I can check the model to see if what I think happened may have happened. Could you post a screen shot?

Because all version between 462 and 472 had that dlccache dependency on the treegeneration for the basegame, it's highly advised to rebuild anything with the fixed version as that doesn't have the dependency anymore (it required everyone to have scanned the dlc in the past even if they only wanted to exchange basegame textures).Getorex wrote...

Really? Does that mean you will pingpong back into a scramble to get your mods updated to 473 now? Do you know if texture mods put together in 472 will function as intended when applied with 473?

I'm vanilla-ing my install atm, to start rebuilding my mods after with the new version. Any residual issues should go directly to the bugreport forums. I can report back once I've started if you'd like.
Sweet! Should I continue to use the old ME3explorer for the texture or am I reading Ottemis's post correctly that WarrantyVoider and company fixed the issue with textures in a recent edition of ME3explorer?Getorex wrote...
Please. I wont get to the textures here until I've fixed a few of the remaining mesh issues. On that note, I will get the Ashley romance mod fixed later this evening...after I've purged my system of the bugged out model that caused it.
