Still working to correct my game pcc issue. ME3Explorer/Texplorer keeps crashing near the end of tree creation with a corrupt zlib entry or some such. Damn debug window is useless because when it happens the debug window goes blank so I cannot tell what pcc may be the problem. Have tried a repair, have tried deleting a bunch of modded (past and present) pcc files and letting repair replace them but nothing is working so far. I hope I don't have to completely uninstall and reinstall the game. In any case, until I fix the issue I cannot correct or release any more mesh mods.

Am able to mod again (so it seems) so I have updated the OP with new mod versions.

OK...enough with the issues with the romance Ashley edit. I'm going to quit trying to fix that mesh and just redo the entire edit.

Hey Getorex, if you are willing, I'd like to PM you with some questions about Umodel.

Finally. I've got Me3explorer up and working again and first order of business is a new go at the Ashley romance mod. I dumped the old mesh as nothing I did seemed to fix the issue with clear demarcation between her UV elements (clear line at arm/shoulder joint was most obvious) when textured. In the OP I am updating her romance mod with a completely fresh version done from scratch.

Soon to have a redo of EDI's default body mod posted in the OP until I can eliminate it with near-future mod that replaces it with a fully clothed variation.

On another note, DAMN I love the Oblivion soundtrack. VERY ME-like:

Ah hell, I am informed by a user that the Ashley romance mod I just released is not compatible with ME3Explorer 480(?!), at least the texture portion. So I will yet again make a NEW new mod using 480.

BACKWARD COMPATIBILITY DAMNIT!

Ashley romance mod plus texture, EDI's default and Alternate (main game) mods, and EVA's mod updated and posted in OP. All done with ME3Exp svn 480.

I see you took down credit for the Hospital textures, I assume this was a mistake?

I am presently reinstalling ME3 on my system after I totally borked it up somewhere. When it is up an running again I plan to begin work in earnest in 1) changing Ashley's hair to a ponytail (except for the romance scene); and 2) trying to give her an Alliance uniform in place of her default uniform for those who dislike that suit. I now have the tools available to me that, theoretically, will make it possible for me to get both accomplished.

I have a small problem here: when I try to install the Ashley_Romance_Full .MOD (or any mod with textures in it) through ME3Explorer, I get the following error message:
"Couldn't find entry: C:\\Program files (x86)\\Origin Games\\Mass Effect 3\\BIOGame\\CookedPCConsole\\CustTextures0.tfc in PCConsoleTOC.bin"

Could somebody help me what the problem might be? I'm using the latest version of ME3Explorer from SourceForge, and my game is a fresh install on this system. The error does not occur when I install .MODs containing only mesh files.

Ugh. I DESPISE that error and nonsense. OK, you need to generate that file by simply running Texplorer. When you open that app for the first time it will ask if you want to also modify DLC content. After this portion the app will scan all your pcc files for textures. It takes a while. If you answer "yes" to modding DLC content it will take ~2hrs. After it is done it will have a nice list of all textures and their locations (what pcc files they reside in) for you. It should also produce a CustTexture0.tfc file and add it to the PCConsoleTOC.bin.

If you've already run it once before then you will need to run it all AGAIN (stupid buggy horrible design Texplorer!).  I myself just ran into that issue and am redoing the entire damn tree build AGAIN (and again and again and again).  The problem is once you get that error there is a good chance your textures for the affected pcc files are f*&Ked up.  You will want to replace your two romance pcc files with copies of the originals first.

That CustTexture0.tfc crap is getting to the point that I'm THIS close to giving up on any texture mods.  Saltisgood ruined a perfectly functional Texplorer system when he introduced this new system that is nothing BUT bug.

I tried what you said, no luck. The scanning aborts after a while, because of some aritmetic-overflow thing - sorry, but I don't know the exact error message in english, it was in my language, which is hungarian. (the same language my Windows OS is).

Anyway, I appreciate that you tried to help. I think I'm done with ME3Explorer for now and going to wait for a more stable version of the program.

Sadly, good luck waiting for a stable ME3Explorer. What used to be the most unstable part (meshes) is now the most reliable part. The texture part is a total ****up and likely will never be fixed because the guy who screwed it up has left the project leaving his mess behind.

I'm not messing with texture mods anymore.  I WILL provide the dds files for the textures so you can us an OLD version of ME3Explorer to replace the textures that you want to replace.  :(

The latest attempt at getting texture mods/replacement to work has me AGAIN (2nd time in a week) uninstalling and resinstalling ME3 from scratch because a repair wont do it.  :pinched:

What this means (AGAIN!) is that I'm totally out of comission with regards to fixing broken mods or producing new mods for at least 1-1/2 days.

@Geotorex

The latest SVN seems to work out fine. Though I have to go back and redo my humble set of mods too.

I would be happy to help with the mod making if you will. Just post the link to the DDS for me and I see what I can do.

I have encountered Arithemetic overflow problem as well. What I found later is that one of my PCCs got so corrupted by the amount of tinkering I did with it, that It threw a wrench into the works.

My advice would be to search for a PCC with an unusually small size. Better yet use a backup copy of ME3.

The textures are linked in the OP for Ashley romance, Ashley hospital (Ottemis texture), and Liara's romance texture.  All are dds format in zip files listed just prior to the mesh mod they go with.

I wont bundle or test them as mods on my own system because I'm tired of texture mods screwing things up for my game but if you wish to package them as mods that is fine.  I'd be happy to post them here along with the dds files themselves.  I cannot and will not test texture mods on my system any longer so they will need to be tested by you or other users to ensure they "work".

At this point most mesh mods I could, or may, do require either DLC changes or texture mods that are problematic on a couple levels. Giving Ashley an alliance uniform, for instance, requires that the uniform texture be edited (to prevent glowing) in ways I simply don't have the know how for. Same with changing her hair to a ponytail or any other short hair style but in those cases the hair doesn't glow, it simply becomes mostly invisible. So future mods must be fewer and fa between.

I am currently trying to get a handle on character animation because I have a few ideas for cutscene vids to flesh out a few parts of the game more. Battle scenes that wouldn't require dialog, just flashes of action. In any case animation of characters is slow going and the bones of the characters pulled from the game are not well suited for animation in 3ds or Blender. I'm trying to learn the details of animating characters using Tali...it's even more complicated with the other characters because the have face animation to deal with too.

Otherwise please let me know what mods at this time are causing issues at this time and I'll try to fix them.

When I had this problem with Garrus, replacement of specular map to default fixed the problem for me (it wasn't glowing but lights were shown wrong anyway).

Reboning a Tali mesh for animation (the psk bones are useless for this in 3ds or Blender):

On an unrelated note, thank you Getorex for introducing me to Oblivion's soundtrack.

I'm Sending You Away is really, really incredible.

Yes, absolutely.  I cannot stop listening to it.  Love it and the movie, plus it (the music) makes me think about certain aspects of ME which is part of what is inspiring me to try some ME animation.  Three in particular: I'm Sending You Away,  Fearsome Odds, and Waking Up.
