Were you sure to get permission for that? Skyrim modders, especially on the Nexus, are big on permissions and credits. It looks like it's one of Azarkiowa's hairstyle meshes.
No worries, I've contacted Azar and am waiting for permission before I officially do anything with it. It's done (enough for testing) otherwise so assuming he grants permission the overall mod would be quick to follow. I'm also, just in case, generating my own hair from scratch and will use his as a general model, except that his hair is INCREDIBLY complex with HUGE numbers of meshes in it so my own version would have a lower poly count, less loose strands, etc.

Would you still be working on the textures there? Ashley's topless texture had some lighting problems, especially around the shoulder and back, and it could do with a higher resolution. Which files would I need to roll back to their vanilla-state to have the romance-textures as shipped with the game in place again?

I recently downloaded your replacement-mod from nexus, can report that the game did not have any hiccups over it.

The lighting issue is most likely from the normal map...the one I used previous had much reduced seams vs the original and I haven't yet tested the new one you provided. If the lines are prominent then I'll go back to my other normal (modified default normal map).
The files are the two Ashley romance pcc files: BioD_Nor_131RomAshley and BioD_Nor_131RomAshley2 pcc files.
I can't do much about the diff resolution as I was working with several different textures, cloning portions from the two into different locations in two different textures, then airbrushing and repairing border segments in the final. The highest res textures I could find to work from were 1024x1024 so that is why her texture is set at that. I don't have the artistic touch on a computer well enough to really nice up the topless texture to a higher resolution.

How do you change an NPC's default attire on the Normandy/Citadel? Looks like you've managed it with Ashley, but it looks like there's modeling work involved or something? If I wanted to replace Liara's white casual outfit with her Alternate Appearance 1 pack outfit (the black armor with the tailcoat), how would I go about doing that? Is it difficult? I've no idea what I'm doing.
If you don't know what you're doing then it can seem very difficult. I believe you can replace it and it might be possible via Coalesced file editing (don't ask me how as I have no idea how that is done) or via mesh and texture swapping. You can export her Alt Appearance Pack 1 body via ME3explorer as a PSK file. You then need UDK so you can import it into UDK and generate LODs and then save it as a upk file. LODs are Levels of Detail and refer to the 3 copies of the same mesh that the game uses depending on how far away the mesh is in the game. Up close the game uses the highest detail model with lots of vertices, as the distance increases the game switches to a lower detail version, and further still it uses the low resolution version. It saves computer power and memory to do this so you want to make sure you also produce LODs for the game to use. You CAN use the high resolution model for all three distances but the computer will work harder for no good reason to render her. The upk file you get from UDK can then be imported into the pcc files that contain her default uniform (on the Normandy it would be BioH_Liara_00_NC.pcc) using Meshplorer again but instead of "Export as PSK" you use "import from UDK".
You can identify the all the pcc files containing her default uniform via Texplorer. Do an Advanced Search in Texplorer (you will need to let it build the database the first time you run it and that takes a handful of hours to complete) for LIAa. The textures you are interested in are the ASA_ARM_LIAa textures. The information you want, which files use that texture and, therefore, that default uniform, can be seen by right-clicking on one of the three textures (diff, norm, or spec) and selecting "Properties". A window will pop up telling you want format the texture file is in (DXT1, DXT5, or V8U8) and also provide a list of all the pcc files that use that texture. This process works for any uniform/face. You can also get a preview look at the texture so you can figure out it is the one you want if you aren't sure (but Liara's default uniform is LIAa).
I am about to go to bed so do not have the time to post a simple tutorial/pictorial on how to do it (and what to do in UDK to get the LODs) right now. You could also do a search for Coalesced editing to change uniforms to see if someone has posted the information on doing it that way.
If you intend to do this or have somone do it for you then you will want to make backup copies of all your game's BioH, BioD, and BioG pcc files (at least) in another directory somewhere so if things go wrong you can copy the original pcc back and replace the damaged/wrecked one and still be able to play your game. Otherwise you have to do a game repair from Origin and that takes a lot longer.

I love Ash so she gets all the attention. I've actually found another ponytail hair mesh I prefer to the one I shot upthread a bit earlier...from Skyrim. I've cut, pasted, scaled, moved, etc, until it fits her head and I think I REALLY like it. Just finished with it in Blender and am about to import it into 3ds to finish it off (easier to edit UV maps in 3ds than in Blender...one of the few things that's easier in 3ds). Hope to get a screeny up this evening.
Oh, and sheesh! Get yourself a cheap PC so you can enjoy the mods for everything. Or a laptop...
I second this. ME3 runs well on my dinky little thinkpad. Just make sure it has a discrete graphics card and you can run it at high settings.

Also must come with a replacement long hair down mesh (remapped to the hair texture used in the ponytail) for both main game and DLC...unless you like the look of Chemo Ashley.

Would it be possible to to get the mod with her combat bun (the one from Church0071)?
If not could I just get the raw files instead? (the udk and textures especially). Am also working on an Ash mod and I want to make my mods compatible with yours (if that is ok).

It would probably be better to install Church's hair mod because mine requires a lot of texture tweaking.
Also, the alliance uniform isn't ready yet afterall, nor is her long hair. I remapped her long hair to the ponytail texture but it also needs to be edited, it turns out, to work with the Alliance uniform. The shoulder boards extend higher than her default uniform so her hair clips inside the shoulders. This matters in the romance scene precursor where she shows up hair down (and having that scene play out in a bun or ponytail is ridiculous so I need to fix the long hair first).

For experimental purposes and grins, I've ported Malik's hair from Deus Ex: Human Revolution over and am fitting it to Ashley's head. I can't decide yet if Ash looks good with Malik's hair or not.

Anyway, with the alliance uni will come an edited version of Ashley's long hair because of the clipping issue mentioned above.

New uniform looks awesome (a HELL of a lot better and more professional than that damn blue mini-dress), but her hair.... I don't know, something about the ponytail looks really off to me (could be just me). Are you going to release this as a uniform-only version as well?
The hair isn't set yet because I don't really like that particular ponytail. I've got about 4 others from elsewhere (Sims, Skyrim, Secondlife, etc) that I'm looking over and heavily editing but it is slow and time consuming. Only thing slower is building one from scratch. You could keep the original hair or go with Church's bun or ELE's hair instead or until I get a final version. The one that is done and ready to test is Azar's Skyrim hair but he's scarce and hasn't gotten back to me about permission - plus it is a REALLY complex hair with a LOT of parts, some that may not work well in practice with me hair textures.
In any case, you can select what parts of a mod to install so even if there's a big bundle you don't have to install all of it (its how I installed just ELEs hair).
Building hair isn't hard, but it is slow and fairly exacting with lots of tool manipulation in the modeling software.

im actually about to complete Deus Ex hr dc right now. i really love that game and i own both versions for ps3a Jensen outfit for Shepard would be cool, especially those shades.
The Jensen model is really complicated, with lots of parts. I have him all sized and boned properly for ME3 but am a long ways from getting his UV mapping done...remove the head and stick on a Shepard and he has the start of a DEHR body armor uniform.
I've just restarted playing that game - had the original and now have Director's Cut. Looking forward to the changes (apparently the boss fights can end non-lethal now).
