Misstatement. It will open upks and pccs.

Thank you for the explanation
am using the GUI at the moment. Am using it to browse through the CookedPCC folder for ME1. Any idea what UPK the armours are hidden on? If its not too much trouble.

Not terribly obvious. Try here:

Speaking of that armour, I found that apparently lengthier hair is not covered by them for Femshep, at least. There is no real way to fix that, is there.
Further, any thoughts on the recent update to me3explorer?

For the new suit, the trick is finding the correcting texture. Compared to ME3, ME1s file organisation is quite different.
For editing DLC textures, there is always extracting the relevant pcc and editing their textures via AssetExplorer. The new me3explorer does have some options for generate DLC mods though, thought its basically just an automation of the copy, paste and update technique
@Getorex
Have you encountered the bone problem, yet? The Ash model has 120 bones and the Me1 meshes have only 110 bones. I hate bones.
You mentioned earlier, you imported bones? May I ask how?

I don't import the full model with bones (except for the armor above which is the same as me3 shep). I import the mesh into 3ds and delete the bones, then import an equivalent model from me3. The bones automatically transfer. Then I do the skin wrap and, as needed, hand correct weights where they are wrong. Sometimes I do the deboning in Blender, export as an obj file, import that into 3ds and proceed.

My God. This is perfect. Should have been in the vanilla game.
Is there a link for this mod? Do I need to install multiple mods or have Texmod or something for it to work?, or can it all be patched in one time through Explorer?

The uniform is my mod with an ottemis texture. Mine comes with ponytail while this image uses Church's bun mod. This is two different mods.

Where can I find links for this and Church's bun? Does the uniform texture come in .MOD format? I found Texmod to be something of a pain to use.
Well tonight I plan on uploading the mod in question tonight. Along with the Ajax suit.

I do only mods and both the uniform and texture are in the same mod. The latest working version is at nexus. Look for author Getorex (don't have access to link you at the moment).

@chashan I knew the fix was coming and it was needed so for that I'm glad it happened so fast. Downside is having to completely recreate the dlc mods (those that include textures at any rate). This does only affect a few of mine but virtually ALL of Ottemis'. Lots of work there.
Right, think I'll hold off on vanilla-ing ME3 until the new update's settled in on the .mod-side of things.
As for the ME1 very heavy armor mesh...
Speaking of that armour, I found that apparently lengthier hair is not covered by them for Femshep, at least. There is noreal way to fix that, is there.
I was actually referring to ME1 itself there. In my case, the "Classy" hair-mesh of my Femshep would clip through the helmet's back. On Williams it was fine, though.
Not certain whether that's just an issue with that hair - far as I recall the ME2 intro as is had that bug too, without any mods applied -, may create a new Femshep next few days with a different hairstyle to see whether that bug appears or not.

@Getorex : Since you've got your hands on armor meshes from ME1, what about importing heavy Phoenix Armor (well, any HMFa armor, according to you) to replace Ashley's DLC pink catsuit and also her breather to replace with the helmet from this set of armor?
Yeah, I pulled a HVYa (heavy variant) and a MED (medium) armor psk out. I also pulled a bunchof textures out for each. The phoenix...is that the main one she wore at the beginning? Mostly white with red trim? I know I've got that texture out for the heavy. Tell you what, since idont have the pink suit version on my system, I could send you the psk and the texture (I'll look for a helmet texture but I doubt it'll work on me3 helmets) and you could do the deal. Let me know.

Yes, that one, but I was talking about her suit from Horizon in ME2, it's got cool red stripes.Getorex wrote...

And sure, why not. Do you think her armor textures from BioD_HorCr1_303AshKaidan.pcc will suit HVYa mesh?

Survivor, I was thinking of keeping the me1 armor separate from the textures and provide a selection of armor textures:n7, phoenix, colossus, various camos...
Sounds great! The trick however is to find the textures.
Getting the meshes is the sort of easy part. Finding the textures is a task unto itself.
I am curious as hows your progress in finding the textures? Most of the ones I found are just blank, uni-colour ones. Finding the textues with multi-colour (aka the Hazard suit from ME1 or even Captain Wasea's texture from ME2) is impossible right now.

I for one think the armour textures would fit the HVYa mesh. If you do find the correct armour textures, I would be interested in how.
And if you ever run across Captain Wasea's texture from Me2, I would love to know how you did it.

I have a bunch of the armor textures out but I don't recall how I found them
@shepassassin, I suspect the me2 pheonix would likely work on the me1 medium armor model as i d bet they just used the exact same model from me1, just like her face and head in me1. It is just a direct import/reuse of her me1 head and face (she's an outlier among game characters in me1 and 2. Her head is the ONLY one that is...unfinished or rushed in appearance. Her face is fine bur her head is a disaster. Grossly mishapen. They cover it with the hair mesh but ALL other characters ive looked at have proper heads. Not sure why the did that unless she was a rush job for some reason.
Anyway, I'll see if I can find that phoenix texture in me2. Its got to be easier than finding textures in me1.

The Phoenix armour texture pops in ME3 as well. Its on one of the asari whom project a biotic barrier during the Omega mission.
