I actually consideredd using it for Ashley, but:
- The armour plate is missing aroud her neck / clavicle area. From a semi-realistic point of view, its a pretty glaring vulnerability.

- Heels. The mesh has Vasir wear some decidedly unpractical heels.

Now the textures for Vasir are pretty easy to grab (Diff, Norm and Spec available from get go). If I were talented at mesh editing, I could see some boot switching goin on, but am not.

I do plan on adding a Spectre insignia to her armour soon...


I'm actually working on a high rez armor for it. So far it's looking really great. :)

Ya know, I'd kinda like to bring Shepard the Batarian armor from MP...shooting that energy net. Question is what would it take to give Shepard the abilty that comes with the armor - the net?

What game engine does the Batman games use? Can you export the mesh? Get rid of the cape and ears... :)

I'm currently rebuilding the Texplorer database (or trying to) without going vanilla (again) in order to incorporate the new textures with the expanded Shepard armors. IF it fails, and there's a good chance it will fail, could I get someone who does vanilla and rescan their system with the expanded Male Shep pcc from Ashley provide me their me3tree.bin file? It wont matter if many textures in your databse are wrong vs what I have installed, all I will need are the ENTRIES for the new armors so I can mod the slots. I REALLY don't want to go vanilla again though...
My DLC data is fine (and I have backups) but I do need the main game database that incorporates the new BIOG_HMM_ARM_SHP_R.pcc with extra armors in it.  Anyone who wants to mod those slots needs the texture data.

Hey Ashley...want EVERYONE to love you unconditionally forever and ever? Find a way to skip the dream sequences in the game. Perhaps some magic of hex editing somewhere? Best I've seen so far was a WarrantyVoider post a long time ago in the ME3explorer forums on increasing the speed of the sequences. Better than nothing but skipping those things entirely would be outstanding.

As expected, the database rebuild failed (always does if you have a modded system - totally unnecessary that it be so but there it is). Anyone want to sacrifice their game for the team? Add the expanded pcc file, vanilla their game otherwise, scan, provide the database?

Haha. I hate those things too, but in some ways I like the fact that they show shepard's nightmares. If they were truly gone from the game entirely, it wouldn't quite have any impact. However, from a video game, visual, sound, and gameplay standpoint: they are horrendous. LOL.

Good Idea. Bad execution.

Conclusion: New NIGHTMARES! MWAHAHAHA. (oh sorry... that was my evil side... :P)

Getorex... any reason to vanilla just for tex scan? Since no one else has anything additional (i'm the first one to add new entries to the pcc files) wouldnt my scan work for you?

The deal with vanilla and rescanning is that SOME texture mods (not any, not all, but SOME) unpredictably wreck the scan, causing a fail. I've gone ahead and vanilla'd the game (AGAIN DAMNIT!) so I can scan with both the HMM and HMF pccs you made included, then I can mod both.

I wish I could just get texplorer to scan ONE file (or two in this case) and leave well enough alone.

I wonder if it's possible to simply remove the kid fromthe dream, and let Shepard run around for a bit hearing the whispers of the dead, then after a time, cut to one of the old beacon visions or the scenes from Arrival if the timer runs out at the end...

"End of the galaxy" should be nightmare enough for any Shepard Posted Image

I resented the dreams because my Shepard (and the Shepard of any storyline) had already been through all kinds of hell and made all kinds of sacrifices. Unscathed. Then one creepy kid he (or she) sees for all of a few seconds unhinges him.

Ugh.

I read someone post a similar take - completely in tune with my feelings but had a great idea for a BETTER dream if dreams are required: dump the kid and replace him with various friends/love interest, turning into husks, or being chased by husks and other things, etc.

Damn kid. Who cares about the kid?

Two releases for you!

First off, my little pet project to get a decent Tela Vasir armor in the game.

Here is my (semi) high res Tela Vasir textures and armor in both standard blue and a dull red. I wanted to make it so it looks like her armor went through a bit so there are plenty of dings and scratches throughout. :)

Second in line is by request the Miranda Alternate Appearance outfit for Femshep.

Not only do you get the standard black outfit, but also a cerberus white outfit (what should have been the standard femshep cerberus armor) but my personal favorite, a spectre themed version all in high res. :)

Looks like a specular problem. Which armor are you replacing? Also, if you look back just a few replies on this post, I posted a nice little guide on how to get the perfect speculars.

Actually see those heavy seams on the arms etc as well, they're often indicative of mesh import issues.
Then there's also a weighting issue with the hands there, sort the mesh issues out first I'd say.

Yes, what Otte says. The spikes on the hands are vertices with incorrect (or no) weighting.

Are you using Blender or 3ds? In either you can fairly easily do a visual check for unweighted vertices (and use normalize/normalization to ensure all points ARE weighted, even if incorrectly, or you will be forever hunting for vertices you missed).

Ash, it's hard for me see anything on the pic because it's so dark but I suppose I've had enough vertex spike issues with my own mods that it was almost the only thing I did notice.

Thank you Ashley for these outfits :)!!   They all work great.  I have a questions can ou make new entries for casual wear like you did for ship_R.pcc, why I asking is I like to keep the dress, hoodie and leather jacket  when replacing them with new outft?  I like to asked request, if you plan on doing Asari commando outfit, med armors from ME1 and ME2, Liari puple/blue and new black one from alt pack , love to know. 

PS:  Big request - Tali black/gray alt armor for Femshep (with and without helmet :)

I may have to take my Adam Jensen mesh and remove his head and see if I can get it working as a body for Male Shep. Major (MAJOR) texturing issue though...very complicated UV map.

The Miranda armors look very good. Ash, do you have, or plan to have, an account at Nexus so you can start releasing your mods to a bigger audience? There's also Moddb (and it is cost-free). I've got accounts at both places.

I received a direct request a couple weeks ago to bring a topless Garrus into the game for the people who do Garrus romances. Someone at DeviantArts made a fairly good-looking shirtless Garrus that he released for use and I've got it adapted, boned, weighted and mesh-edited to correct some biologically unreasonable, but fairly minor, issues around the chest and shoulders. If I can get the texture and UVmap to work out...at least the person who asked me to do it will be happy.

Then there's Adam Jensen (I haven't forgotten him):

His problem is converting him from a LOT of individual triangles into unified segments. Everywhere you see non-smooth rendering is what I have left to join together. ALL the rest of him was like that to start with.

A shirtless bird (even if female) doesn't do anything for me but for reasonableness (Does Garrus really ALWAYS wear armor and the monocle thing? Even right out of bed in the morning? Kinda like people taking showers or baths in their underwear or Ashley having sex in her underwear. Gotta fix that sh*t).
