Nice work on Ash's armor! Is it somehow possible get rid of the"boobplate" entirely? Maybe by refitting a male torso armor?
Wha? She's a woman, not a dude! Why give her a dude's shape/armor? Even the modern REAL military (now) has women's body armor (because the original male-based body armor doesn't fit right...made for broader shoulders and not to accomodate breasts).
http://www.army.mil/.../article/87464/Ashley's armor is virtually identical to Liara's default armor. I was actually aiming to make them very close to the same in womanly appearance as that is how they were in ME1. If you ever look closely at Ash and Liara, particularly while riding in Citadel elevators, you can see that their (perfect) bodies in that game were IDENTICAL. The only difference was texture applied depending on the type of armor being worn. If I could, I would take their ME1 bodies and use them in ME3.
In any case, removing stuff would mean eliminating vertices in the mesh and that is a no-no if there's any hope of getting them working in the game. At least at this time. The method intended for getting these edits into the game involve basically overwriting the current/default mesh vertices coordinates with new coordinates from the edited meshes. That requires that there be precisely the same number of vertices in the edit as exists in the original.
