I'd rather the people who worked on weekend challenges went on to work on ME4MP improving it.

I would love to see them come back, too - even if it is the previous ones used again.

But does BioWare have time to work on that?

I'd like to see that also. It would give folks the chance to run the challenges they missed. They have the challenge system automated, so they could set up an automated challenge scheduler to turn one on every couple of weeks and cycle through them.

...Why? I'd rather they continued supporting the game I already paid for so I can enjoy more now. The concept of a game being continually supported and updated for years seems to be something that is lost on console games that I'd love to see happen.
Only reason I'd want them to be working on ME4 instead is if they are going to a multiplayer system that introduces that sort of support to consoles. Otherwise, keeping up with ME3 would be much preferred.
Also: inb4 why not both?

Just because Bioware isn't making weekend events anymore doesn't mean we can't make our own.

I'd rather have a better ME4MP that benefitted from the experienced individuals who helped with ME3MP. Which certainly feels like a "trail run" rather than a full fledged aspect of the game. And since they cannot be in two places at the same time, ME4MP it is. Thankfully Bioware seems to agree with me in letting ME3MP get cut loose.
Consoles. Ick.

So in short never bother buying anything via bioware points... I wasted about £40 or 50 on the packs at start but this is one customer that has learned his lesson, last time I will waste money on any addons or packs. I wish they did recycle the challenges so I can get all the weapons, I never managed to get the Particle Rifle and I bough the razer product that gave me the collector rifle...

The weekend challenges were great not only to complete and take part in but because it also showed that the games producers were still supporting Mass Effect 3 and actually cared about it's gamers/customers.
There are still plenty of challenge subjects that could be done that are totally different from those already used and how hard can it be to put them out there?
My friends and I still play ME3 every week in a squad of four and all agree it's one of our favourite online games so it's disappointing the challenges have just vanished although I'm sure Chris Priestley said they would return!
