How bad was it to go back, and vice versa, from SP to MP?

Biotic Shepard god. You literally have like 10 different biotic combos.
I noticed that; playing an Infiltrator this playthrough, I definitely need to respec. For some reason my bonus power is Carnage.....you can see how misguided I was before I stumbled upon BSN and multiplayer.

Now image you could add MP gear and consumables to that...

Yeah I made the mistake of starting a soldier playthrough not too long ago. Not the most sound choice...

Cluster Grenade, Singularity.
Talk about extreme overkill.
Edit: No wait! Argh damn the SP still has the old Singularity right?
I knew there was a reason I never played adept in SP.

I couldn't find a way to compare MP and SP that didn't make it sound like SP could be played reasonably well by a baby sleeping on the controller.

I posted a response to this, but efter several re-edits, I deleted it, entirely.

Well there is narrative difficulty. *Rim Shot.*

FTFY. I will now playthrough with the controller lodged between my son and the side of the crib.

I haven't tried but I've seen so many people say that Insanity playthroughs on SP are like playing bronze on MP after they've played Gold & Platinum.
Pretty much, I'd say silver damage and health wise, but the most you ever fight is like 6-8 guys at once, the majority of which are basic troopers. It is rather hilariously easy.
The end fight on Omega and Citadel DLC were actually a challenge with an infiltrator though.

Rule #37: There is no “overkill”. There is only “open fire” and “I need to reload”.
&
Rule #34: If you're leaving scorch-marks, you need a bigger gun.
Yes, the combat in SP is a joke, which makes "losing" to Kai Leng even more grating. The only part that was at least somewhat challenging was the Armax Arsenal Arena during the mirror and the bugged stage.

I remember the endless banshees, where you had to launch the final missiles at the Reaper guarding the beam, that would always make me run and I couldn't stop running. Now I was killing them so fast that I was surprised when I heard I needed to launch the final missiles.... I was waiting for that part to be hard and it never did.

I really hope their experiences in this game allow the next game to be a bit more challenging (at least on the harder difficulties). ME3 had a really fun combat system, but SP couldn't capitalize on that with time dilation, weak enemies, and the ability to freeze time altogether via the power wheel.
I'm not really sure how it is to go from SP to MP, as I played the demo extensively when it was released. To SP's defense I can tell I'm used to having ops/gel/missiles/thermals from playing MP so much. I usually try to pop an ops if my shields go down, only to see a giant glowing arrow appear on screen....

Then nova guard after mp . Currently on sentinel . I aim to get through each mission using no gel so even if both squad mate die I just solo it. Although I am struggling on the final earth battle with endless banshee and brutes . Even with dodominate
the ability to freeze game using power button is ridiculously over powered

Yeah it is. I've never used it but damn, what a terrible unintended advantage. Worse than reload cancelling:whistle:
