Got the Ultimate Edition and am loving this game dearly however:
1. The Orzammar quest is litterally the worst part of the game and is probably the longest quest in the history of gaming, pretty srs.
But on a more serious note
2. I am a rogue, have two daggers. One is a Dar'Misu and another is just a regular dagger. They're both dragonbone quality. I have I believe 42 Cunning and 38 Dexterity and 20 strength. I have runes on the daggers as well that slow speed, chance a paralysis, etc.
But I keep missing for whatever reason, even when facing basic darkspawn. They only time I really hit is when my character chooses to backstap. He'll be backstabbing but every now and then he'll swing with the other dagger and it's ALWAYS a miss. I don't have any hexes on me that make this way so I'm not understanding why this is happening
Other than that I really love this game but my Rogue is a great DPS'er and with him missing I can't do that effectively. Any help would be Appreciated

I don't know how different the Ultimate game is from the regular, what skills/talents do you have? My dexterity is usually the highest.
and yes, Orzammar is a long trek *sigh*

I'd say the fade is the worst part of the game, as you're on your tod for the most part (Not good for a party based game, especially if your character is, say, primarily a healer).
Orzammar has to be long, hard and drawn out because that's where the Darkspawn kick back when they aren't jacking people up on the surface. If it was quick dungeon clearance then we would be questioning why the Dwarfs hadn't taken them out long before this.
I'd say your Cunning's a touch too high, but it shouldn't be a big deal. Put the rest of your points in to Dexterity now, though.
As a Rogue you should be looking to get behind an enemy and take them out as quickly as you can with talents. Rogues are not generally supposed to stand toe-to-toe and slug it out - that's what your tank is for.
If you are struggling badly with Orzammar then I'd recommend turning back and tackling that area last, as there are a couple of nasty 'surprises' waiting for you when you finally do reach the back end of the quest.

To increase your attack rating directly, you may consider investing some more points in DEX as already mentioned. There are other ways however to increase your rogue's attack rating if you are more interested in focussing on Cunning (you already have enough DEX if you are building a cunning rogue) such as:
* Specializing as a Duelist and using the Dueling sustained mode.
* Specializing as a Bard and using Song of Courage. Bringing another bard in your party is also an option for some more bonus.
* Having a warrior with Rally (Motivate) in the team.
* Using equipments that increase dexterity.
* Bringing along a creation mage and spamming heroic offense on your rogue.
Orzammar is quite a long questline, yes. But I kind of enjoyed it except for the first playthrough when I was not prepared for the backtracking.

I think that the reason dragon age 2 doesn't have quests anywhere near as long as the longest quests in DA:O, owes to the fact that it was a very common complaint in DA:O that the deep roads were too long a quest without respite.
As others have suggested though, focus on dexterity from now on.
