 I just ran the saber with the piranha, and the saber felt so lacking againt armor and even at midrange.

I was thinking of going black widow with piranha maybe.

Also, I'd like to see a tech explosion build with hawk missile launcher if that's even effective.

Typhoon with wraith or claymore backup, although scorpion makes a good back up too

Ppr or typhoon with scorpion for phantoms/dragoons/pyros. I use hydra missiles. It's probably the best platform for the ppr.

PPR / scorpion for me (with hydra missiles). The Adas anti-synthetic rifle can be lots of fun on him too. If you're using the Adas, host the game... you'll get kicked otherwise.

PPR is just an all around gun, but it doesn't complement him with the way RoF and the PPR warm up works. I used the typhoon earlier on the krosent, and it was so weak. 

My typhoon's only IV though, and PPR's eight.

depends on play style, my personal recommendations for weapon combinations:

You prefer nades over missile;
PPR, Indra, Reegar, Raider. piranha, basically anything that can keep pumping out pain on a fast pace.

If you prefer missiles over nades, you dont need that fast of a weapon, like claymore, adas, falcon etc.

I usually run mine with PPR/Adas + reegar/indra.

PPR + GPS or Graal (to deal with those Phantoms if I'm hosting)

I use my kit as an overwatch character, LMG as my primary and something in case I get drawn into CQC i.e. during objectives waves.

Originally I used PPR, then switched to Typhoon, fire from cover when you can to increase accuracy [of Typhoon] and decrease damage taken.

With PPR I carried the Piranha but these days I pack the Scorpion, in order to keep those Phantoms at bay, bear in mind that I spec out of Hawk Missile Launcher in my build.

If you don't mind living at an ammo box and I mean literally never moving from the spot, the Cerberus Harrier will put down enemies stupidly fast but if anyone else takes even a single clip, you will run dry before new ammo appears.

Hurricane is pretty lethal as well but depending on your ability to aim cross map, this may or may not be a good choice and like the Harrier, it burns through ammo.
