Game right before that I was an HA with sing/shockwave (shockwave target cap raised, too, thank god), another was a vsent... we made it to wave 6 that game. the problems:

1) i couldn't see any abominations, period. others could only see non-possessed ones. turns out that they still take you down when you kill them.
2) anno killed all the nades.

basically, i was doing quite comfortably well, actually, as an HA doing exactly that... until the abominations came out and destroyed me.

A lot of powers in this game have a maximum cap for the number of enemies they can affect and thus aren't even remotely as effective as you'd think due to the target cap. Even flamer suffers as there are more enemies on screen than flamer can actually affect. Powers like shockwave and snap freeze can only affect 2-3 enemies per cast.

I nerfed the radius of all grenades, so they have base radius of 1 meter for inferno/ lift/ arc/ frag and 0.7 meters for cluster / multifrag and any grenade which previously hit through solid objects (inferno, arc, lift) now is unable to do so. No more spamming grenades and cheesing all the things.

Ironically, the most overpowered things in husk mode are cryo ammo IV and the geth spitfire...

Who would have thought?

I was part of a game where we increased the general spawn budget and the game was pretty crazy. Our gold game had a group point total 50,000 points greater than our prior platinum run. It's quite a lot of fun.

I mean if BW doesn't support ME3 anymore why can't the community do something to keep it alive?

If BW could be clear about this being a banable offence or not that would be great.

ME4 totally needs a Husk Apocalypse.

And hell it'd be really cool if we could have a modded game option for ME3. Just make them give no credits. Real simple.

You know, I actually would have thought that, to be honest.  Cryo Ammo was probably the most effective anti-Husk tool on ME2, other than Singularity of course.  Still, I think Area Cryo Blast would be amazing against all those Husks.  You can literally fire it on a one-second cooldown and freeze 2-3 enemies per blast.  Any Cryo Explosions your teammates could manage to detonate would just add to the Cryo excitement!

I feel this is probably the most accurate portrayal of what fighting Reapers on Earth would be like.

Anyone tried the Juggernaut with this? I think an offensive-specced Hex Shields would be immensely useful in stunning/killing Husks when placed in a doorway. I wonder if he can kill up his shields when surrounded by that many husks.

The Cabal would be also pretty good with her Nightshade blades if you didn;t nerfed that too. Or the Batarian Soldier with Ballistic Blades if it doesn;t have a enemy cap limit.

And how does the Krysae, Scoprion, or the Venom fare in this case? I imagine they would be immensely more useful with limited ammo being the only limitation to them.
