Have you ever been hit by a pyro? You know how the fire clouds up your screen, and you can't see though it?

Well, when you walk up behind me, and try to use your flame thrower on an enemy 50 feet away, then i can't see him, and also you can't hit him.

You're just killing us both. Thanks! xoxo

Well let's face it, if someone seriously tries to hit a Prime or a Marauder on the other side of the map with Flamer, there is probably something wrong with them.

Character is the jugg. I'm use to being a meatshield, and the one behind me always goes down before me anyway. It does take away from my kills, without even adding to theirs, which just slows down the match.

If you complain when the banshee puts up her bubble, you are the one who needs to learn to play.


Not that flamer takes no skill, it takes skill to use effectively, just dont spray fire in to your teammates eyes.

Also, if you spray your flamer in my face, and i cant see to deal damage, and i'm dying, don't complain about the hex shield i dropped in front of the two of us to stop the bullets for a moment.

Is the flamer distracting you from spamming heavy melee for the entire match to avoid going down on silver?

As a rule of thumb, if I'm flaming it then your gimped DPS isn't needed anyway.

Oh, in that case I dont think it should even matter. The juggernaut is so large and tall that you should be able to see things easily. I cant really test it though at this time.

I love playing the trooper flamer & think I do well. I also realize , played badly, it can hassle other players so I make efforts to not let the flaming get in the way. But if things are going downhill (e.g., three geth bombers overhead) I flame away/kill with impunity & I think teammates are happy for it.

I use to enjoy sneaking up behind teammates that had little situational awareness and using the flamer on them, watching them panic and jump out of cover looking for the pyro, usually to die from enemy fire...

Oh the good ol days.

50 feet is 15.24 meters (i had to google this ). you sure they didn't plan ahead? had it speced for range and predicted the enemy would walk into it? i'll say that's smart thinking ;P

To be fair, it is pretty annoying when you're just trying to play. If you wanna shoot at real players, go play COD.
