Same here. Lol, I actually had a dream the other night where Bioware confirmed that Varric was a love interest, which is funny since I almost never have Dragon Age related dreams.

 

I can only hope that my dream was prophetic...

LOL, awesome! For a second after I woke up, I had thought it was real, too.

 

I suppose that means Varric has been dream-confirmed as a love interest twice now!

If Varric does end up being a traitor though, I am going to cry. I am going to cry, and scream, and probably put down the game for a year or two in my tumultuous grief.

Personally I'm working under the assumption that there's going to be a point where any of the companions might turn on us. I'm hoping Varric is no exception to that this time around.

I just think Varric would be the most resonant.  He hasn't known the Inquisitor nearly as long as Hawke, and Bianca's role has been hinted a few times.  And there's a fine tradition of treachery for love, or concern for a loved one through coercion.
