With new ME3 DLC officially coming to an end and the future of multiplayer challenges up in the air, what keeps you playing multiplayer? Are you still attempting to unlock weapon upgrades or characters? Do you obsess over getting the high score in your Platinum matches? Is the chance to troll new multiplayer gamers just too great to pass up?

Personally, I'm still playing simply because it's so damn fun. I don't know if I should be embarrassed to admit this or not, but I've been playing multiplayer for roughly two hours every night for the past year straight, so my continued participation is just kind of a given. But I was curious about what's keeping other N7 operatives in the game.

I only get to play a few times a month. So enjoyment that might have only lasted 3 or 4 months normally is no where near satiated.

Still experimenting with different weapons and builds on some characters. For example, I just recently started to truly appreciate the arc pistol despite it being around since launch. Trying to find what other hidden gems I've overlooked since nothing new will be added.

I'm still working on trying to get some banners.

Although I'm not in "full on grind mode" because that gets boring.  I played nothing but Council Races for 2 months whilst I tried for Commando Mastery.  Got 83% done and binned the game for four months.

Working on Machine Mastery now but 'm not playing every game with a Geth or Quarian.

It helps that I have new characters to try out, like the Talon Merc and Vorcha Hunter.

50+ kits and multiple playstyles keeps the game fresh. I switch from a SS shadow to a Phoenixdept to a MQE.

Usually play Plat PUGs as well.

As long as there's no other horribly addicting time-sink that comes my way then I believe I'll keep playing until ME4 :happy:

I drop down to gold occasionally for pure melee builds and the like, and honestly don't find much difference.

i play sometimes even now (i'm in since the demo) but i quit after 2-3 matches. the last DLC made me play more but that excitement has gone. and now when i play i prefer (again) the basic kits.

Maxing out my manifest, just the Scorpion, CSMG and all the rekoning dlc URs to max out. Also, the mp is really addicting for me. It's addiction is similar to how I was hooked on RE 5's mercs mode. Killing the enemies with Wesker's dash was so satisfying. Anyway, it's fun to toy around with the mp exclusive powers.

It's the only multiplayer I really enjoy and I still have a long way to go with my manifest (and skill level D:).

Also waiting for something else to wow me since I'm still in my Bioshock Infinite comedown.

Because i havent maxed all my UR-s yet and completed every single challenge there is (see my signature).
Should be done at the end of this month. I will keep playing after that...albeit not as frequently.
