I would have chosen control and then ordered the reapers to fly into the nearest sun.
The destroy ending really is the most pointless ending. You can accomplish the exact same thing with control without having to sacrifice the geth and edi.
Unfortunately Bioware didn't think Shepard was smart enough to figure that out so I have to keep picking destroy. :(

You, who can summon up fire without flint or tinder, doesn't your Shepard have an LI to return to?

Send the reapers to their doom, upload myself into sexbot, go bang Jack.
If Edi can do it, so can Godshep. Image IPB

You, who couldn't blow up a killer rabbit, what if Jack wanted to sire your son?

There are some who call me... Image IPB ...Tim.

We'll adopt Grunt. That was always the plan anyway.

Why couldn't you blow up the bunny? And that was Garrus' plan with Femshep.

P.S. When your adopted son got in trouble with the police, did you do the right thing and make him apologize to C-Sec?

Unholy beings like bunnies need holy explosions, ergo the handgrenades.

Garrus would be a terrible father for Grunt. Can you see him trying to teach Grunt how to shoot a sniper rifle?
Grunt would not be a happy boy.

Yep, made him apologize to the nice officer.
Can't really expect Jack to be the responsible parent.

I would have given the SR-2 a new name instead of reusing the name Normandy. A name with a more badass history like the "SSV Bismarck" or something.

It sunk the HMS Hood, the pride of the Royal Navy. And it didn't go down until it was hopelessly outnumbered.

Frigates are named after great battles of human history.  The Normandy was named after the Nomandy Invasion in WWII (though I suppose you already know this).  The Bismarck was a ship and besides, the HMS Hood was outdated by 1939 and the Bismarck was top-of-the-line.  It wasn't even a fair fight.  Battles like the Battle of Berlin and the Battle of the Bulge would fit into this category.  Not operations to take out specific targets (which the attack on the Bismarck was).

Considering how many ships mentioned by Shepard are named after places, not events, how do we know that the Normandy isn't named after the northern portion of France?

Scrape off Kai Leng on one of the many bridges we're flying under instead of abandoning the wheel, leaning out of the moving car, and shooting at his plot armor.

The Codex talks about the Alliance's ship-naming protocol:

Dreadnaughts are named after mountains, cruisers are named after cities on Earth, and frigates are named after historic battles in the history of Earth. being a frigate, the Normandy's name would be based off the battle.

I would have killed The Illusive Man and took control of Cerburus.
I would have told Admiral Hackett to go to hell when he tells me I will face a court marshal from a military I no longer belong to because I made a tough call to stop a Reaper invasion.
I would accidently choose refuse when I layed my eyes on the Catalist. I would have realized It for what it was. The enemy's attempt to use my PTSD against me. I would have opened fire on it.
I would have spent less time threating the Reapers in the first two games and used the time I spent speaking with them to understand their motives
I wouldn't have a relationship with any of my crewman because it gets sticky when making command decisions.

I would have resigned my Alliance commission immediately after the Battle of the Citadel and cashed in on my earned fame ( not to mention the millions of credits I already had stashed away) by selling the vid rights to my life story. Then I would have parties my ass off until the Reapers arrived at which point I would've died drunk and happy.

Seems like a plan..

The creature knows that darkness is its ally. I can barely see you, six, if I didn't know you were there, I would say that your Shepard wanted to control the Reapers.

I guess I missed/forgot that part of the Codex, nevertheless, the Normandy (SR1) was destroyed, and I was referring to the name of the new SR2 ship which was/is NOT alliance property, and thus, being a new ship, deserves a new name.

When rescuing Garrus from the Blue Suns, I would rushed Jentha, knocked her out, and leave a little note saying that I am an officer and a gentlemen who doesn't kill women and if she has a problem with that, here's my E-Mail address.

All in time to get Garrus out alive.

Indeed, how can one who is no longer in the service be "court-marshaled", especially if he has been declared KIA for the past two years.

Well since i played as a purely paragon Shepard, i probably would have done most of the things he did throughout the trilogy, like blowing up the base, saving the workers on Zaeed's loyalty mission, and curing the Genophage. What i would NOT have done however, was charge towards the beam at the end of ME3 without any kind of plan or strategy. Running with your friends towards a beam of light is nice and all, until the enemy sees you coming a mile away. I know i would have found a way to distract Harby just long enough before he set his gaze on me and my squad.

I am a 3/4 paragon Shepard, mostly paragon who is willing to get his hands dirty from time to time. like head-butting the Krogan who was badmouthing Grunt and myself, and to please the Shamen with my knowledge.

Yeah i have to admit, there were some renegade moments here or there that were actually more entertaining than the paragon ones lol.

I would have proved to the Starbrat that he was part of the "problem" he was trying to solve. He had the Reapers kill his creators? He said, "the created will always rebel against their creators." and he did just that. The Geth didn't. Starbrat can't be immune to logical paradoxes. Hopefully, he'll short-curcuit himself trying to solve the paradox. Then, the Reapers' intelligence would be lost and the Reapers wouldn't be a threat anymore. Just scrap metal.
