It was rough, but Tali was right. Prazza was an idiot, and he and his team paid for his idiocy. As for trying to save that Quarian, that damn mech is pretty tough on a fresh playthrough.

Shepard had several seconds of time to draw the mech's attention away from the Quarian female, and with the Arc Projector in his hand, he is now a makeshift Tesla Trooper, whose specialty is anti-tank.
But instead he takes cover.

Good thing I never cared about Prazza who was too busy hiding the Quarians dirty secrets and atempting to evacuate the "witness" or "Collector agent" before Shepard gets there.

I don't care for Prazza either, just that girl in red with those good hips.

I if were Shepard I would have thrown an EMP grenade in the AI Core the Moment I gained command of the SR-2.

Someone forgot that ME doesn't have EMP grenades.  You're thinking of BO2. :wizard:

I would've saved Prazza's squad by taking the lead with my squad.

I felt so bad when that YMIR mech stepped on that poor Quarian chick and shot her up, and good ol'Shep  didn't even try to save her.

I KNOW! That moment always makes me feel terrible, poor hot Quarian girl:crying:

If I was Shepard, the galaxy would have been screwed. I am not nearly brave enough or not-lazy enough to do the stuff Shepard does. In fact, I would never have joined the military to begin with. If I was Shepard, Shepard would have some boring 9 to 5 job behind a desk instead of being a famous hero of awe.

If this were a real situation, I sure as hell would not try to resuce one person that has been curshed, regardless of her hypthetical hotness. Bet she wasn't so hot when all of her organs are being squashed out of her, Just saying.

Sure, but the point was, that Shep could've taken out the Mech before she gets squashed. The Arc Projector can take it out in an instance.

It would also hit the quarians, who are all cybernetically enhanced cyborgs.

That's actually a good point. Wether they have enhancements or not is irrelevant, the Arc Projector hits any target in a close proximity.

Fine, even without the Arc Projector, Shepard would have been able to drawn the mech's attention away just by shooting at it.

Exactly. A biotic or tech Shep would have had no problems destroying that mech and saving her.

A biotic Shepard or a tech Shepard saving the day makes no sense when there is a biotic Miranda who is also a tech Miranda. Mechs are really powerful, rather large, and this one was far away, realitivily. From that distance, I doubt that they would have been able to do anything.

One move of the hand and my Shep could've hacked the Mech or absorbed it's shields and blew it up with an M-77.

If mechs were that easy to destroy, no one would use them. Tech specialist are not ultra rare, so I'm sure they would prepare for them.

Yeah, but gameplay wise they're pretty easy to destroy for a tech. Infiltrators absolutely destroy mechs.

Even if we don't destroy it, we would be able to instantly distract it, as mechs tend to focus on whoever is doing them the most damage, and buy that Quarian chick enough time to escape.

And, putting the chick aside, at least one or two other Quarians got shot after her, and Shepard is still cowering behind cover.

Spacer: Your "mother" might get really ashamed of you.

Colonist: Really? No thirst for vengeance for your friends or family?

Earthborn: You would not be able to get a desk job.

Shepard is not cowering. There is a difference between that and taking cover. And lets be honest, they just run behind said cover as the last quarian is shot. Calm down.

You need to watch the scene again, there several still fighting for their lives when Shepard approaches.
