Shepard is not cowering. There is a difference between that and taking cover. And lets be honest, they just run behind said cover as the last quarian is shot. Calm down. 

You need to watch the scene again, there several still fighting for their lives when Shepard approaches.

There are two of them. One gets shot just as soon as Jacob goes for cover. Then Shepard scowls as always. I just started ME2 again today, and it happens nothing like you are making it seem.

Yeah, that would have been awesome, except that they would never Destroy each other. Quarians already have the advantage, and helping the geth gives them the edge. Would have been cool though.

I would have;

• That Turian Admiral in command of the fleet during Priority Earth.
• The Quarion glass cannons bombarding fortified Reaper postions In and around London help the Landing party.
• I would have all the Military leaders, Generals and their best tacticians devise the plan of attack on the way to Earth rather then just the rubbish the Alliance came up with.
• Kai Leng, Well I would have shot him while it was fighting with Thane.
• I would bring the whole team from all three games together for the final assault. Well, not including the dead ones, that would be wierd, and an inconvenience.
• I would have brought the Prothean VI with me after Priority: Cerberus Headquarters.
• I would have saved my clone and convince them to join me to fight Cerberus and after, the Reapers.
• I would have demanded for a emissary of each race taking part in the war to be present on the Normandy
• I would have the Geth drop in to Landing zone in London a minute before the troop transports to suppress/clear it of forces to lessen the initial casualties and bombard it the minute before that.
• I would have positioned all of the fleet by the Citadel, rather then in some desolate solar system.

Yeah, I think you know that. Of course most of them went into a black hole during Priority: Earth. Right after they landed, most of Hammer went into a black hole or tried to fist fight a Reaper.

Your avatar has reminded me, I would have asked my squad if anyone has any idea what happened to the Husk's electrical attack?

They should've kept that in. The husks were seriously nerfed. Encountering them was a total cakewalk no matter what.

It was gone in 2. They took away our Mako. They had to do it.

When playing the Lost Freighter mission, I would have rushed Julia and knocked her out.

I would have convinced Kasumi to wear a real dress, rather than keep her obviously thief attire. That way all that Donovan Hock would believe he is seeing is Solomon Gunn entering the party with a Oriental babe at his side.

If I were Shepard, I would have thrown the holokid into space. The illusions of the control rods, tube and synthesis beam would disappear, and a console with a button on it would replace them. It would be labeled "Push To Blow Up Reapers." I would then push it.

Watch Michael Bay explosions. Shuttle arrives picks up Shepard. Cut to credits. Post credits. Shepard flies off into sunset with LI. Buy DLC.
