Plus, the fact that Shepard surrendered the Normandy to the Alliance after taking it from Cerberus.  Also, the SR2 design was based off of the SR1's design so technically, Cerberus stole the Normandy's design from the Alliance.

I'd have yelled "DIVE! DIVE! DIVE!" directly in Joker's ear canal as the Collector ship started firing at us, during the beginning of ME2.

Seriously, you call THOSE evasive maneuvers? Vaguely zig-zagging doesn't really cut it if your opponent is firing a continuous beam. Maximum Derp :P

I wonder how things would've played out if we never 'died'.

Probably for the worse, as the SR2 is better, the ME2 team is a hundred times deadlier, and the Alliance is nowhere near as bold as T.I.M.

Let's face it: he was a terrific leader before he went ape****. Yes it's YOUR life he risks, but his risk-taking ultimately proved key to success.

ME1: call the Council about what to do with the Rachni queen - it's not like it was going anywhere and Shepard's mandate is hunting Saren, not deciding on genocide.
ME2: shoot Miranda on sight (she was wearing enemy colours and shooting at my squad) and take the shuttle back to the Alliance. Jacob and Wilson can rot in space!Gitmo
ME3: snipe Kai from the balcony (Shepard, Garrus and 2x Black Widows...), get Gerrel relieved of his command (intentionally endangering the fleet to force the other admirals to back his plans sounds sufficiently treasonous to me) and grab a riot shield (seriously, how come cat6 mooks can dualwield a riot shield and a Revenant when I can't?)

Let's face it: he was a terrific leader before he went ape****. Yes it's YOUR life he risks, but his risk-taking ultimately proved key to success.

He took out a complete non-threat in ME2 (1x cruiser and Ahnold which they would never have completed in time) whilst delaying/preventing the construction of the Crucible which is our only hope of survival? Yeah, we really need more guys like that.

ME1: tell the asari councilor to read my f*cking mind so she can she i'm telling the truth.
ME2: kill miranda and jacob on freedoms progress and get a lift back to the alliance with tali.
ME3: would ask for the other races help to build crucible rather than retake earth and wouldn't dream about the vent kid.

Uh.... no. He destroyed/conquered the ENTIRE enemy base, ending the Collector rampage through human colonies for good :P And there is absolutely nothing to prove they wouldn't have completed the human Reaper in time.

Also, how could your secret war against the collectors ever delay/prevent the construction of the crucible? Perhaps you didn't read my post correctly: he was a good leader BEFORE he went crazy, in ME3. Cerberus started messing with the Crucible only AFTER the project on mars was discovered. :P

After ME1, I wouldn't go patrolling for Geth, I'd be busting my bum all over the galaxy warning al who will listen about the Reapers.

After learning my lessons, I'd attach a camera to all variations of my armor for video proof of all reaper activity.

ME2, I'd play it out more or less how it is. I'd even give TIM the base, but I'd also be sure to get the IFF to the alliance as well. Good luck TIM getting your data with an alliance research fleet there as well.

After taking the Collector Base, I'd drag Legion and Tali to the admiralty board and sort that **** out. Quarians want their home back, but the Geth historically haven't indicated they have any intention of giving it back peacefully. Now I have a Geth platform with connection to the Consensus who is actually communicating with organics and is saying "ya, we don't even really use that rock anyway, we are just kinda afraid they will always try to kill us". Legion, I'd like you to meet Admiral Korris, Adm. Korris, Legion. Problem solved, and now I got two giant fleets with minimal effort.

The Renegade in me though would have just said F' it, wholeheartedly supported the Alliance coup in ME1 with Anderson in charge, and militarized the heck out of the galaxy in preparation for the reapers.

Definitely would have had Liara around. She would have kept me organized, and would have shared her interest in things historical and her peoples interest in the arts.

Probably wouldn't have been as nice about getting Joker off the bridge of the SR-1, and most likely have made it into the escape pod and survived, and been without a ship. So with all the Frigates in the alliance fleet now gone, all nine of them. Shepard has 2 million credits invested somewhere, which isn't enough to buy a ship. So she'll have to go begging the council for a junker: probably an Asari or Turian frigate that has been recently decommissioned. The SSV London is a little big for Spectre Ops and no stealth drive to my knowledge.

I would have called James on it a lot earlier. And probably been just as bad as Kasumi oggling Jacob. Mmmm, beefcake.

Also, I would have used my vanguard abilities in every cutscene. Kai Leng? VANGUARD CHARGE. Saren? OHAI, HERE ARE MY BIOTIC FISTS. Why, look, some random merc looking sketchy. WE'LL PUT A STOP TO THAT. FWOOOOOSH! Y'all get your logical driving responses to Kai Leng on your car out of here. I would have charged through the windshield into his face. He never would have seen it coming. The Normandy would be filled with chocolate and coffee to fuel the insane amounts of energy I'd burn with using my biotics, and I'd probably keep stealing Kaidan's coffee, too.  I also probably gone even further on the cyborg side than buying all the upgrades in ME2. And I would never heal my renegade scars.

I am a good person. ;)

Ya, when they where Alliance, they left the Alliance. The plans of the Normandy are Alliance property, not Cerberus.

I would pay to see this.

I'm just imagining the scene with Thane and Leng playing gunkata slap and tickle only for Shep to cut in with a Biotic Charge/Nova combo.

The galaxy would be doomed. I'd do nothing but play with Captain SnuggleFluff and watch my fish swim in their tank while obsessively pushing the button to feed them.

Twenty. Four. Seven.

If I ever left my cabin, I'd probably just yell at Thane to use a freaking sniper rifle and blow Kai Leng's head off.

No surprise that synthetics consider us inferior, hah :D

Yeah, because as we see at the end of ME 3, we can totally survive getting nuked by ship laser beams.

I would have paid more attention to the cutscene, so that when I talked about it, I'd not look silly to the people that did.

The computer chips with the blueprints, sure, but NOT the raw material used to make the actual ship.

Which reminds me, with the remainder of the gold found, I think I would a few more SR-2 ships built and have them sent off  to certain admirals as gifts. Anderson did consider using the confiscated Normandy after all.

At least I would get an epic "I told you so".  And worst comes to worst, I'll just join Cerberus anyways when everyone ignores me and is doing nothing.

Indeed, If my Shepard was going to have nightmares concerning the Reaper invasion, they would have been about that poor colonist chick getting sapped of her precious bodily fluids.

Undefended human colonies outside Alliance space - sure, that sucks for the victims but is of no strategic significance.

And there is absolutely nothing to prove they wouldn't have completed the human Reaper in time.

There is - Arrival. The main Reaper invasion force reached Baterians space before Shepard took out the very incomplete human Reaper; finishing it would have taken considerably longer (cf EDI's comments) - clearly the Reapers themselves had no faith in the human Reaper changing the outcome.

he was a good leader BEFORE he went crazy

Ad I'd argue that being a good leader requires one to not go crazy, ever.
