Hey, now. Madness is the doing of the gods, we men have no control over it.

When Kai Leng dropped on my sky car, I would have inverted it. I also could have tossed a grenade into his ride that came to pick him up or shot the driver. I could have opened up on him in the elevator or tossed a grenade in. But I wasn't allowed to do any of it.

that picture of thane fighting kai leng where shepards just standing in the backroung facing the other way looking at a painting on a way, that always makes me LOL.

Undefended human colonies outside Alliance space - sure, that sucks for the victims but is of no strategic significance.

That is.... a very Renegade thing to say. Colonists make potential recruits ya know. Perhaps a colony won't birth dreadnoughts but it's existence is important on other levels. Social, political, image, etc. which all ultimately affect the survival of humanity.

Besides, the Collector base is the real focus here: T.I.M. defeated an enemy the Alliance could not. Shepard did the shooting and wooing. T.I.M. handled everything else.

There is - Arrival. The main Reaper invasion force reached Baterians space before Shepard took out the very incomplete human Reaper; finishing it would have taken considerably longer (cf EDI's comments) - clearly the Reapers themselves had no faith in the human Reaper changing the outcome.

We may never know. To say the Reapers had "no faith" is speculation, but i can accept that just ONE giant terminator probably would'nt have made much of a difference.

Still, stopping the Collectors from abducting millions of people to make more of those doesn't sound like a small matter.

Ad I'd argue that being a good leader requires one to not go crazy, ever.

T.I.M. was a good leader in ME2, and turned into your average evil overlord in ME3, complete with monologues and legions of disposable minions. Not to mention sheer obtusity.

But you can't really say he wasn't a good leader in ME2 because he won't be in ME3.... unless you have some sort of Crystal Ball technology or your name is Dr. Manhattan O_O

Considering he is in ME2, I would have the honor of being the first ;)

At least I would get an epic "I told you so".  And worst comes to worst, I'll just join Cerberus anyways when everyone ignores me and is doing nothing.

And how would you prevent Cerberus from turning you over to the "Dumb Dark Side"?

Easy, I simply follow the story of ME2, but without the whole "being dead" thing.  Shepard was actually fairly level headed during that instalment.

Pretty sure if that's the one representing all life in that cycle then the Reapers came 10 thousand years too early.

I don't need a crystal ball, I just need ME 1.  I can use Pragia's references in ME 2 as well.  My view is he got caught with his hand in the cookie jar.  Others have expressed that it was a rogue cell.  If the latter is correct, just how good a leader was he, really?    So he's paying people to kidnap potential biotics, but not paying for pit fights to test the results?  So he had no idea that they were kidnapping potential biotics to test their measures on?  So yeah, either he's just reverting back to ME 1 and previous status, or he's crap for a leader.

Dude, i'm referring to how he leads YOU in ME2, which is in an extremely efficient way. Horizon, the collector ship, all the dossiers and info he hands you, and the sheer freedom he concedes.
How he directs you ultimately results in you defeating the Collectors. Unless you're crap enough to fail the suicide mission but that's another matter and ultimately non-canon.

That he was aware of Pragia is entirely possible, and plausible. If anything, it was the base's staff who could only set up crappy arenas with Cerberus' funds.
And if he wasn't..... well, one cell going rogue in a galaxy-wide organization doesn't really make it's leader bad.
Not counting the Lazarus cell, of course.... that's sort of another matter.

All other experiments in ME1 were just him trying stuff. "Throwing science at the wall and see what sticks" to discover every single possible advantage humanity could take. He's always been the "sacrifice one million to save one billion" type.

ME3, however, is where he REALLY gets stupid. To the point that he even refuses YOUR alliance if you offer it, after witnessing what you're capable of.

With the Geth dead, who is going to try to jumpstart her immune system?

P.S. Would you have your Shepard adopt Jona?

I would have resigned my Alliance commission immediately after the Battle of the Citadel and cashed in on my earned fame ( not to mention the millions of credits I already had stashed away) by selling the vid rights to my life story. Then I would have parties my ass off until the Reapers arrived at which point I would've died drunk and happy.

Shepard had time to get to the escape pod after getting Joker, but Shep had a derp moment

For the sake of sticking to ME2's storyline of getting incapacitated, my Shepard's excuse would be trying to bring that girl's body to the escape pod in the vain hope that she is still alive, (the one the audience see's blown against the wall as Ashley/Liara escorts the rest of the crew to the escape pod.

Ignoring the acid trip which is Synthesis, this was the single biggest writer handwave in the entire trilogy.

Anyway, on Zaeed's loyalty mission? Save the workers, then call in the Normandy to shoot down Vido's gunship.

Well, she says she adapts without the geth being alive or not, so it seems that Tali and Shepard just get it on so much, he leads to her immune system growing stronger. So basically, the solution to the issue of the geth being dead in the destroy ending is more sex for everyone!

Good thing she isn't a biotic, or the anti-biotics she needs would do more harm than good.Posted Image

Now thats an idea, I have noticed quite a few times when the Normandy would have come in handy but wasn't available.

Well, treat her nicely, because she sounds very eager when she suggests to Shepard to go pirate.

Since I don't recruit Jack, we don't have that conversation. She stays frozen in prison, unless the planet that turned her in can't make the payments or she escapes.

Yeah, but unfortunately, Quarians don't live as long as humans (I think they live to their 80's on average).  It might have something to do with their immune systems or living on the Flotilla.  Not completely sure.
