@David, I paid exactly double $60 so if you think everyone is paying the same amount for games, you're the idiot here. In addition, to fix the trouble of games becoming more expensive to make, they can rise the cost of the initial game instead of trying to feed off of dlc which only encourages the rushing of games. "Don't worry if it's not done.. We'll fix it with dlc."

So why don't they make everyone pay what Aussies have to pay for games then?

@MassivelyEffective, Ballad of Gay Tony and Lost and Damned was a separate game from GTAIV.

Probably because your government doesn't like violence and slaps a big fat tax on it. USA! USA!

I would gladly pay hundreds of dollars for lengthy high-quality content, but I'm not sure how many other people would. Probably because I only buy, at most, 2 games a year. (Last game I bought was ME 3.) DLC and patches are going to exist regardless, as they should.

The EC should have been there from the beginning, though I view that more as an artistic problem than a "let's cut it out and sell it later" issue. I have no idea why anyone would ever think the OE was good.

See, I don't think that, myself. I figure that the ending should have been fleshed out much more thoroughly before it was released, but the chosen format is pretty well just bad, even with an HD remake with new computer-animated Tauntauns. Ideally, things would have flowed differently from Shepard gathering largely abstract quatloos to plug into a big ball that does unknown things with an unknown method, operated by a hostile AI which created the primary antagonists and repeatedly extinguished advanced civilizations for millions of years.

Once the fan ****** got started, they should have listened, not necessarily to content, but to quantity, and come up with something less Shyamalan.

I never said they shouldn't (re: patches), also we have R18+ games now so it shouldn't really be a problem. Plus if your theory were correct they'd only price up violent games which isn't correct.

I always saw you as an intellectual individual but somehow anytime someone exclaims "USA! USA!" I picture them in a pickup truck wearing a flannelette shirt. This has changed my view of you forever lol.

The underlined part we both agree on... Already proven in my case since I'm paying over a hundered dollar for my games.

It's funny. I live in Texas, and go to school in a freakin' disgusting hick town that needs to be nuked. Lubbock, Texas. I don't know why the hell anyone would build a city here, but they did. I can't wait to go home in a week. But there's plenty of pick ups and crappy country music and all that.

And at the same time, most of my classes are full of...well...ugly nerds, to be honest. There's really no way around it. The stereotypes are all true. I'm sandwhiched between them.

I only played Levi, Cit, and Ash.
I grade them all A++. They found all the gems and did so in an amusing fashion, while bringing me some delightful yarn to play with, all within a good time frame.

(Dislike aria. Didn't Download Ome.
Liked original ending. Still downloaded Extra ending. Haven't used/played yet. Watched on youtube. Found enjoyable but not necessary.)

In comparison to ME1 and ME2 along with ME3 DLC. Also rated them of 14, and which game had the overall best DLC cycle.

ME1:

BDtS - B 7/14
Pinnacle Station - F 14/14

ME2:

Normandy Crash Site - C 11/14
Zaeed - C 9/14
Firewalker - C 10/14
Kasumi - B 6/14
Overlord - B 3/14
LotSB - B 2/14
Arrival - B 5/14

ME3:

From Ashes - B 4/14
EC - D 12/14
Leviathan - C 8/14
Omega - D 13/14
Citadel - A 1/14

Overall best: ME2. It was the most consistent, and each of the "Big" DLC's were good and added to the story. Nothing beats Citadel, but ME3's DLC for the most part just wasn't that good. The EC was crap - only because it made High EMS Destroy tolerable did it recieve a 'D'. Omega was total crap, for reason's I've already elaborated on. It was arguably the biggest disappointment in a DLC. Leviathan had a decent plot, but it suffered from being too short and really not having the impact it should have. From Ashes was definitely very strong though.

The Normandy crash site is a DLC? I guess I wasn't paying attention to what I was downloading.

In-between an A and an A*. Fantastic line up of DLC. Weapon packs and the alternate appearance pack was also very nice.

From Ashes: B

The mission itself was nothing special, but Javik was a great character. From Ashes was also a big improvement on the DLC squadmates from ME2, who don't have much to say aboard the Normandy and who never really interact with other squadmates.

Extended Cut : B

It isn't perfect, but against expectations it managed to salvage the series for me.

Leviathan: A

One of Bioware's best story-driven DLCs, with a great reveal, fun gameplay, and an investigative portion that I hope gets carried over into ME4. We need more missions that involve more than just running & gunning. I also loved that your squadmates aren't silent or rehasing old lines (unlike Overlord or LotSB) and comment on the missions afterwards aboard the Normandy.

Omega: C

The positives: Fun gameplay, great looking scenery, some interesting paragon & renegade choices and the ability to influence Aria in either direction, class-based interrupts, and two interesting temporary squadmates.

The negatives: Too much running and gunning with not much story content in between. Its a very action-oriented DLC in comparison to Leviathan, which was heavier on story. Its one of the reasons why I preferred Leviathan. Also the DLC itself seems disconnected from the main game in that no squadmates comment on the mission (unlike Leviathan) and it is not referenced by the Citadel News Network.

Citadel: A

Pure unadulterated fan service, but it was a fun ride with tons of content, new enemies, and one of the better boss fights of the series. And of course an emotional send off for the series. Not much to dislike here.

@Han, I can't even imagine ME3 without Javik anymore. That's how well that DLC meshes into the entire game. It also helps that he's not just some thing that disappears near the end. He's pretty much there to the bitter end of the story.
