[Modding] Shields no longer blocking powers

Sooo, I've stumbled over how to disable shields blocking powers in ME2, but I have a question to how that affects powers:


Firstly, will damaging powers like Incinerate directly damage health regardless of shields, or will they damage shields first?

Will Cryo Blast work through shields?

Do Barriers still block powers or not (seeing how the game distinguishes between shields and barriers)?


How do ammo powers behave?


Are there goign to be any issues with importing saves to ME3?

If your using the same one I did:

Damage shields first.

Armour/barrier/shield is all counted as "shield"

As normal

Not as far as i know, although mine had the face import bug.

Erm, no? Did you read what I wrote?

I modded the coalescend.ini and set the "bShieldsblockpowers=true" to false, then added the lines "bArmorblockplowers=true" and "bBarriersblockpowers=false". Shields and barriers will hence no longer block powers.

I have however not yet played much with the setting as I'm going to play another ME1 character to import first, so that's why I put the questions out here.
