Specifically, this one:

I'm trying to get it to work in the OC/MotB/SoZ, but I'm not noticing any difference. It says to install in /docs/nwn2/override, which I have, but there's no change.
Any ideas on how to get this to work? Or, are there any other mods that would make Darkvision and such useful?

It's a builders tool for use in making new campaigns, not used for overriding things in the official campaigns (it needs to be in overrides for builders to use it)
As far as darkness goes, you can play my Path of Evil campaign, which has plenty of areas with no light sources at all, pitch black.

in the description there're pitch black areas mentioned but there are no such areas in the official modules. that's why you're not seeing any change.
