This is one of the dumbest things I've ever read on this forum. First of all: balance. There were more buffs than nerfs. Second, most of BSN plays Gold/Plat. These are the people who constantly post about great builds/tricks to make things easier for ALL players. Lastly, the developers do things on their own merits, rarely do they take BSN suggestions to heart.

Collector SMG at 15 on Gold/Plat? Are you serious? Not unless it gets a lot better at higher levels & i'm trailing behind with my low level piece of *****.!!

The CSMG gets a lot better at higher levels, most heat weapons tend to scale significantly better from I - X than non-heat weapons do.

CSMG I would not be worth using on gold. CSMG X is definitely worth using on gold.

Extended magazine is a necessity.

It does get a lot better at higher levels.  It's not the hurricane, but you can get most bullets to hit in the head even at medium to long range, and it has a bonus against armor so it's not nearly as far away as you might think.

I am curious what is the success rate at each difficulty. Especially with all of the avenger users out there. That gun ****ing sucks and I am tired of seeing them in gold and platinum lobbies.

It pains me to see the Javelin on that list....although it's not surprising. It's a joke in bad players hands but absolutely devastating when an elite player uses it.

So all of the common, starter weapons are somewhere in the middle half on Gold/Plat? (Seeing as how they are in neither the top nor bottom 15.) I would have to assume that anyone who unlocked any other weapon would be using it, except maybe the mantis.

So by those starts, I guess Gold is the newer starter difficulty? Or perhaps all the horror stories about the quality of Gold PUGS are not as exaggerated as one would like to think?

Depends on what. Put it on whichever Turian with enough stability passives, add Barrage gear and/or stability mod III for 75 to >100% stability.
With AP ammo or mod, you can then carry a Gold game while constantly
headshotting everything. It has more than decent dps, and is even a very agreeable gun to use.

Yes that's a lot of conditions for a gun, and by the time you have enough knowledge about stability & recoil+Barrage gear V+Stability mod IIIs, you're probably already droping CSR or Widow cards, or have a low-level Valiant/BW.


I'm extremely surprised by how much GPSMG is played in gold/plat myself. I've only seen bronze/silver scrubs try to use it on plat. Rarely seen any of these freeloaders wielding it on gold even.

The stats seem consistent with what I have seen, almost forgot about the Raptor and Falcon altogether. The CSR is a little surprising since it can be pretty deadly but there's a bit of a learning curve to burst firing it (and the range with the scope can be misleading). Sad to see the Raider there but at least the Gold/Plat players see it's awesomeness. No major surprises so far though it's still kind of fun to guess the stats.

Not suprised to find CSR as one of the least used SR-s. Its pretty terrible. Even with characters who have extra ammo capacity and equipping all kinds of ammo gear you cant fire for more than 5 seconds straigh without overheat. It would be acceptable if it would do great damage in those <5 seconds but it does not. It used to be a lot better.

Wait, are you guys seriously?! Why Kishock is not popular weapon? This is most powerfull sniper rifle in second place, in first place in Javelin.
