Will we see them in Omega? Does anybody think we'll learn why they are unwelcome in council space and why the are rejected by Salarian society?

I though this thread was gone for good. Anyways Lysthenin are an offshoot of the Salarian species. They're not welcome in Citadel Space and are rejected by Salarian society. They normally live in the Terminus Systems in places like Omega. I thought they were interesting and I'd like to know more about why all these things happen to them.

I wouldn't be surprised if Mordin was a Lystheni. Perhaps the missing and/or stunted horn is one of the earmarks of their branch.

No doubt if they're in the prequal comics then they will get at least a codex entry in the game, they wouldnt waste such a significant piece of information about a race on a comicbook that may not get alot of interest beyond die hard fans of the setting.

that makes a fair bit of sense he's in remarakable shape for his age he has a speech impediment a stunted horn and a big friggin tatoo perhaps to better mark him out kinda like when ****s made jews wear the star of david

I bet Fargut(the first Salarian you see on omega) was one

That doesn't make any sense, why would he be allowed to work in the STG?  Personally, I think Tazzik seems more likely to be a Lystheni.

Omega is the trading center of the clans of the Terminus System, I think that seeing Lystheni in ME3 there would make sense.

When I first saw him, I assumed that's where they were going, since he was so bulky.  But they made no mention of it.

Honestly, it was only fan speculation that ever implied that they were visibly different from other Salarians anyway.  We could be seeing them all throughout the game and not even know.

black people have served in the army since before they were treated equaly and maybe they just put up with him because he's that good

The Lythseni are the key to saving the galaxy. They alone understand how to defeat the reapers because they were once Indoctrinated but broke free with a deep understanding of the reapers way of thinking. Of course this is all speculative but Id like to see it happen in ME3.

I think that they are just exiled Salarians, tbh.

Is there any physical difference between Lystheni and regular salarians? If not, then a bunch of the salarians you see on Omega are probably Lystheni.
