I'd disagree. People who drove off cliffs in failed flying machines before the Wright Brothers had very dangerous cases of optimism.
You mean Gustave Whitehead? :innocent:

I'm going to express concern unless they reveal a 2014 Release Date at E3.
But that's just the habit I have of leaning towards soul-crushing realism.
My concerns will depend on the state of work that they'll show at E3. Though regardless in my opinion it would be a risky marketing strategy, if the game will come out this year.

Awesome.
Hope we aren't getting really hyped up for a CGI trailer, though...
Why not? That's the best part. I hope the CGI trailer has morrigan in it, or better yet... narrating it, like flemeth did for Dragon age 2. That would be a nice turn of events.

It's probably IGN's problem there.

Compare DAO and DA2's CGI trailers to the games themselves.
CGI trailers don't really tell us anything. Sometimes they can even be deceiving. They just make us go "ooh, aah" and then oh look, more speculating over nothing.
Lets see how the game actually looks so far.

Oh, can you imagine the butthurt? No PC version? Delicious...
But in the Twitter thread a few weeks back, Mike Laidlaw said they would get PC specs out when they were available. So we can all but assume there will be a PC version.

Yeah, so far PC is the only confirmed platform for DA3.

Ah, yes...I don't venture into the land of Twitter, so I missed that. But thank you

If there weren't a PC version I'd have to get a next generation X-box but I don't want to hook it up to the internet.
no pc, no buy... I'm sorry but consoles just don't appeal to me at all...

It's been a while; starting off with a big in-game/gameplay trailer would be the best thing to do, I think. As has been said, GGI trailers rarely tell us anything about the game.
Save the CGI for the launch trailer, maybe.

On IGN's list of games appearing at E3, it only has DAIII listed under Playstation and XBox...did they accidentally leave off PC, or is there something we should know??
www.ign.com/wikis/e3/Big_Games_at_E3_2013
They're probably only showing it on Playstation and XBox at E3. It's been confirmed that it will be on PC when it comes out officially.
Or maybe I read your comment wrong and that's not what you're saying...
