BioWare refused the indoctrination theory because it's stupid.Shawn Marrster wrote...
And Mass Effect 3 was even worse where EA was offered a perfect solution (the indoctrination theory) and refused to use it just because the big wigs new best.
Is ANYONE going to preorder DA3?

After DA2 and ME3 I am certainly not going to, as are numerous people I have spoken to. Will you be preordering?
I'll decide closer to the date based on what information and previews are available. When the demo comes out you can be sure I'll be downloading it.

And this is the reason why pre-orders and pre-order bonuses still exist.

I'll probably end up doing what I normally do and pre-order it the week before its released, so that I get it on the day it comes out.

Of course, I might change my mind once I see and hear substantive stuff about the game.

Part of me wants to for nostalgia. Part of me, a part that logic and cynicism can't quite kill, desperately wants to see DA3 a huge success and something I truly love.
But gone are the days of "BioWare? Pre-order is a certainty" for me.
I hope they surprise me. I hope they truly learned a few things from the last couple, er, bumpy roads.
But, all things remaining as they are, I seriously doubt it.
It's in BioWare's court. If their direction shift with DA3 is more back towards what I love(d) about their games in the past, while ditching some of the stuff they've added lately that I dislike... I can be swayed.
I might not be the intended audience, however, and I have accepted that. I'll just have to wait and see.

Depends on what the collector edition offers. I buy a new game once every 6 months (everything else is via Steam or GoG sales) so it's not like I'm breaking the bank here.
If I like what the collector's edition has, then I'll pre-order. If not, I'll wait until it comes out...

I am, just to spite this thread now.
In all seriousness, who cares if you are or not?
Who cares about the plight of Somalia too?
The point is that both DA2 and ME3 were overall poor games, which does not inspire preordering. I am curious to actually see how many people will preorder.
Your point is subjective based, and not a fact. That is why I don't care about it.
Somalia is real world political problems, although with their new president there is hope, at least Mohamud is asking for aid. But that is also not related to Dragon Age 3 at all.

Sure I think that Bioware has made some mistakes some small (various parts of DA2) some large (ME3 ending) but overall I love their games they have made some of the best games I have ever played.
NWN,KotOR,Jade Empire,ME trilogy,DAO and DA2 I have played every one of these games repeatedly and they are all installed on my laptop
I even enjoyed SW:TOR even though I hate MMO's. (I hope now that EA have the right to produce SW games that a true KoTOR 3 is made, though I see that as incredibly unlikely)
Until Bioware are either shut down, make a genuinely bad game or move in a direction that longer suits my preferences I will continue to buy their games, or rather (somewhat naively) throw my money at any game that has the Bioware label on it.
Edit: Bioware is one of the developers that I will take instant notice of when they announce a new game, and along with developers like Bethesda a day one purchase for me.
However I can definitely see why people would be wary of pre-ordering/purchasing future DA or ME games but wouldn't it be better to judge the game based on solid information (there are always hints in pre-release info of what the final game will be like, even the ME3 ending "problems" were evident in leaked information) Then decide whether to buy the game if fits your own preferences.

Frostbite 3 is a new engine that I doubt will run on my ol' computer.
Yeah, it runs everything fine, ME3 is fine, Skyrim is fine, GW2 is fine, but FB3 is geared towards a new generation of consoles and will have higher requirements.
So no. Hopefully there's a sale when I decide it's time to upgrade my computer. Then I'll support the company by ordering a digital copy if it's good.

I used to pre-order the Collector's Editions of BioWare games, and purchase others without renting simply because I trusted the name. After the last couple of debacles, though, I'm not taking any chances.
