Nope, I'm going to wait for feedback from my friends. Why take any risk when some of them are going to take it for me? lol

Ha, for  DA2 and ME3 I was my friends' provider of feedback. I convinced everyone to play DA:O, and was hoping I could do the same with DA2 and the finished ME trilogy. I'm still the only one who played the games...

I won't preorder DA3. Chances are I won't purchase any of the next Bioware games before the end of their respective DLC cycle, even if they should get great user reviews.

We have not seen anything from the game yet....
But in short, no. Not unless they seriously impress me with / when they release some actual gameplay. Hopefully a demo. But I doubt it. Bioware is going in a direction right now that I don't want to follow. But I still have a small grain of faith left, very little tho...

Never did and never will it can only lead to disappointment, it's a shame in this day and age how much bs is being pulled by developers. But I guess if your consumers are really stupid enough to fall for it then they deserve it. This isn't really a rant at BW but more in general lately just look at Alien Coloniel Marines, Metro (5$ DLC for a game difficulty?) and Star Command and Star Trek just to name a few.

I will await some individual reviews of friends and independant reviewers that aren't on someone's payroll and then decide if it's a buy at the start for full price or wait untill it hits the bargain bins.

I certainly will, and certainly never regretted pre-ordering DA2 and ME3. Both were definitely worth the money (sure, DA2 wasn't as good as DAO, but it was still a good RP, and ME3 was a better game than ME2).

I didn't regret pre-ordering DA2. I was disappointed with some aspects such as the recycled maps etc, but I still enjoyed it enough to think it was worth getting sooner rather than later. Chances are that I'll preorder it if I like what I see in advance.

Nah. After DA2, I want to see the reaction on BSN and the reviews first.

Yes, I enjoyed both Dragon Age games so I will pre order it. Though I might not buy the limited/collectors edition unless there is in game content (quest/character).... But I rather not pay an extra $30 for something like that.

Will wait and see what Bioware shows me of DA:I first. If it looks great i will buy. But i hope they give some clear answers this time, and don`t flat out lie. Had enough of that.

I'm certainly in for a Pre-Order. Not like there is anything better going on in the RPG market recently.

I'll pre-order just to cancel it ;P
Seriously though, I don't see the point unless you are gunning for a collector's edition.
For me the editions would have to come with more cool physical stuff rather than some pointless &/or useless superficial in-game gear. I hated that they charged 7 euro's for Sebastian as on disc day 1 DLC if you hadn't pre-ordered. Anyway, what would you guys want/ think is OK for pre-order incentives especially with all the controversy about Metro charging 5 bucks for AI adjustment's if you didn't pre-order?

Yes, I'm gonna pre-order it. In fact, I'm going to pre-order the biggest and most expensive edition there is.

No. I only pre-order games I know exactly what to expect, such as Borderlands 2, the last game I pre-ordered (with a Steam Free Weekend discount too). I don't know what to expect from DA3 at all.

Well, to be fair, those aren't going on. They are being made; none of them have been released.

There has been a bit of an RPG drought in the past 18 months. Fortunately, there is a monsoon coming to wash away all of this Decline.

Yeah, I'm afraid my 2nd and 3rd University years will suffer because of that!

Since they haven't shown anything on DA3, it would be premature to say "Yes, I'll definitely pre-order it!"  For all I know it will be about dolphins eating fish, and the dialogue will just be "Eek eek eek eek!" all through the game.  In that case, I probably wouldn't pre-order.

However, I predict that the pre-release hype will get me excited and cause me to pre-order the game.  In general, I'll be curious about the game and be in a position to make up my own mind about what I think about Bioware's newest game from the very first day.  I'm not inclined to wait for reviews because most reviews are lame anyway.  In general, once the game releases, I am more likely to go on media blackout to avoid spoilers than I am to wait for reviews and get a feel for community reaction.  Indeed, I prefer to contribute to that community reaction than wait for it and survey it.  And one of the risks of waiting for other opinions is encountering a story moment in a context I'd prefer not to have.

Yes, AND a Collector's Edition, too, if they have one.

Probably, either way I will buy the game on the day or release even if I don't pre order it.
