No.
I'll buy after Totalbiscuit and Angry Joe post their reviews.

In general I don't ever pre-order anything. ME3 was the only game I have ever, ever, ever pre-ordered. A CE, no less.

And the box (i got it for xbox) maintained a vice grip on my disks! The inner circle of the disks were ruined...and I'm very careful w/my stuff.

It looked like a Banshee had eaten out its butthole! I was pissed! So, then drama ensues w/me trying to get it replaced.

Just..no. That's the reason I won't preorder DA3. The only time I did, and it ended being a pain.

But I'm looking fwd to DA3 itself!

Oh look, another poorly-disguised 'I hate Bioware' thread.

Yes, I'll be pre-ordering. I see no reason not to.

I think DA2 is brilliant whereas part of ME3 is also brilliant.

But I won't pre-order DA3. I need to know that certain characters are killable before I play the game.

I'm gonna pre-order the game unless I see something in the gameplay previews that just really puts me off.

Don't be such a drone. There are plenty of reasons why you might reconsider pre-ordering, not just with DA or BioWare, but with games in general these days.

Nope, I'm going to wait for feedback from my friends. Why take any risk when some of them are going to take it for me? lol

^

Besides which, it's rare I can't just wait a month and buy a game half price these days.

I'm sorry that wanting to be more careful with my fairly limited income and wait until I'm more confident in my enjoyment of a product rather than just buying something blind means I hate Bioware. I'm just a terrible person like that, I guess.

Herp derp. Because saying I don't see a reason currently is apparently the same as saying no reason could possibly exist.

What is reading comprehension?

Some people will preorder, of course. I'm waiting for reviews. I am fairly sure that they're going to put in the time, this time, to make a good game, but I need to know if it will be something that will actually appeal to me before I buy it.

I made assumptions about Awakening and then DA2 which turned out to be wrong. I'm giving DA3 a chance in that I'm open to hear about it rather than just writing off the franchise. But I hope they do better QA work this time around as well.

Pretty much this idea.  I have always pre-ordered BioWare games in the past.  Had some problems with DA:O choices but pre-ordered DA2 and enjoyed it.   I pre-orderd all 3 ME games but ME3 makes me feel they may be going in a direction I am not interested in going so I'll wait till people I trust review it.  Not "professional" reviewers.  One thing ME3 did for me, I no longer have a problem with my DA:O options.:)  I'll buy the game as soon as I'm sure I'll enjoy playing it more than twice.

Nobody was talking to you, so there's no call to be butthurt.

Your reasons for preordering (or not), are totally irrelevent to the fact that OP clearly and transparently made this thread to whine for the umpteenth time about how Bioware has personally murdered their childhood pets.

Caught in two minds.

I've invested a lot in the series and read the literature so I know I'll play the game at some point. I enjoyed DA2 but probably not enough to justify the pre-order I placed on it.

Chances are I will, but it's not a case of me scouring the internet for collectors edition news so I guarantee myself a copy.

I'll probably pre-order, since I still enjoyed DA2 despite its flaws. I'm definitely waiting to see if different retailers have different pre-order bonuses first.

I'm going to wait for the reviews to come in, both from published reviewers and fan reviews. Even then I'll buy it used if both have positive things to say about it. If I like it, I'll download the DLC. Bioware has a long way to go to win back my trust.

Regardless, I hope whoever does buy it at launch, enjoys it.

Eh, nah. The only thing that would cement a sale and probably a preorder from me would be news that there will be a tool set. I tend not to preorder AAA titles in general though. Because ya know, EA. It's a rule that has served me well.

Weird one out, I guess, that I really enjoyed DA2, and I've been an avid collector of the books and comics, so I'll probably pre-order. I don't know about CE, though, since the only time I ever ordered CE was when ME3 was supposed to be the last Mass Effect game and I wanted to go out with a bang. Hahaha yeah, my naivete...

No, because I'm not a gullible moron and will wait and see the final product. If it's anything similar to ME3 or DA2, I'm going to stay away. Very far away.
